Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Re: Noticed High Voltage between several users

What I got from each paragraph and tried to relate to EE. This simplifies it a little, and I said simplified not shortened. I'm not going to post any more "translations" on the meaning of this essay unless someone requests it, and then probably just on a PM. But here's the first paragraph for those confused.

1st Paragraph
A person or a group of people, the EE forum or EE community, decide one player is greater than another because unlike the normal player they show better qualities such as in art, bossing, or minis. Another "semi-rare" (for some reason this seems to be a growing trend) quality of an EE player is being a complete jerk on the forums or in-game, but we don't praise them for this because out moral code says we shouldn't. Simply we don't praise people for being jerks. So because of moral code, we should treat other players as we would wish to treat ourselves (unless for some reason you have major depression issues that cause you to hate yourself or something along those lines, then treat players kindly).
When we judge someone as a bad player or an above-average player we usually just judge one or a few aspects of that player. So if our perspective, which is usually biased to what the community is thinking at the moment, of a great player was someone who was great at making minis, a great artist might be judged as inferior to a great mini-maker. In reality, we should be "judging" players by their whole EE character. In other words, a player who is good at everything, i.e. minis, art, and bossing, could surpass a player who is great in one thing, i.e. art.

If anyone gets this next correlation I'd be impressed. It's similar to the "tabula rasa" mindset. Tabula rasa means that humans are born with empty minds that are then completely shaped by their surroundings. Our surroundings include the media, our parents, friend, and society as a whole. Just something to think about...

There's no need to be a ****. Either contribute something or don't post.

I don't exactly understand what you're saying, Helvi. Struggles (High Voltage...?) between forum members? I'm going to need some information. You're saying we should stop the whole "you're a noob and I'm better" mentality, or what?

JadElClemens, many on this board show some natural hate toward each other, just showing their pretty disrespecting behavior, which therefore leads to flames. This repeats all the time based on the "I am better than you" mentality as I believe.
