Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Noticed High Voltage between several users

Hi there,

Over the last weeks I noticed a high strugling with and against certain users. I don't think "your", yes your forum war against any other anonymous user is pretty much obsolete and not needed at all.
I just received a PM from a fine guy from this forum voicing his concerns as well.

Around 12 years ago I was in school and a friend was reading his essay. Something you all should read and understand.

An essay on Human Equality:

The quotation where the discussion kicks off:

"HE is superior in comparison to HIM."

Contra: "No, he is not..."

Arguments: "...it is the same category, as it is more rare than silver!
So our SOCIETY decides "gold is more valuable than silver"; meaning superior to silver, But on the other hand "extreme cruelty" among people is rare ,too, but you wont regard this characteristic as superior, due to our moral which dictates the superiority of peaceful solutions!
My basic quotation is that all beings [human] are equal, not only created, but from the sum of all facets of behaviour.
The fact one decides on another being superior or inferior is the perspective or the point of view - the own opinion, which is again influenced (or based on/created ...) by the moral code, aka society, which is the origin of our acting.
This leads to my conclusion that people are equal and should be regarded as equal for what they are and not for what one wishes them to be.

The good things is that people tend to look up to other individuals which are in the specified society successful. This fact is absolutely natural, because (as Darwin said) survival of the fittest is a main aspect of our behaviour or acting in respect or awareness of our future. Therefore we annex parts of lifestyle as "superior", because it guarantees the existence of our genes in future [generations] (therefore we try to imitate characteristics which lead to our immortal biological life).
We assess beings as superior (or inferior), because they (do not) grant "our" (artificial) existence for centuries. This is actually wrong, because this "advantage" is only a product of our society. The truth is that all are equal, who can only be differentiated by their usefulness to their unique society!

In conclusion, superiority or inferiority describes the rate of efficiency to the actual state (behaviour dictated by government, which is again influenced by its "past".)
[["Past" describes the period of time in which people experience most of their life-long impressions], which are mainly negative, due to the fact that our brain remembers well the "bad things in life", even stronger than the positive things, due to the fact that we strive to eliminate or reduce the things we have a close emotional connection to (usually in the case of bad experiences), which could become an obstacle for future "superiority".]

The base of our behaviour is the fact that we want to continue our existence (even if it is only in the form of a genetic code) for ever, because every being is convinced (due to the urge of reproduction) that his genes are worth to be given the chance of reproduction/ existence!

So, what does this mean for us?
I am not superior to anyone.. I am your mentor.

Well, all I ask the fighting parties for is to calm down from your never ending rage with and against any other.
It is a fan forum and you behave like monkeys. Did you understand that there is another world just outside the door?
And you fight on the forum?

I am **** due to several peoples behavior on the forum.

Along with these words I would like to apologize if anyone feels insulting of my opinion and my friends word ..from over a decade ago.

Helvi

Joke //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/wink

All I advocate for is to show a bit more respect toward each other. Someone like you do, something like someone else also does. But there are alot who do not ..

Helvi, for 99% of the users in this forum, the hate for other people is natural and probably a good reason.

Re: Noticed High Voltage between several users

Tell me a valid reason to hate someone, ?tilla.

To quote myself:

The fact one decides on another being superior or inferior is the perspective or the point of view - the own opinion, which is again influenced (or based on/created ...) by the moral code, aka society, which is the origin of our acting.

This is the very reason why someone hates someone else. Valid?
Now ask yourself: Why are people numb here?

Re: Noticed High Voltage between several users

Thank you Helvi. I know for a fact that at least one rational person is a member of these forums now. I did read the whole of what you posted and found it inspiring. I feel deeply depressed that most of the forum users will not read this, because of their arrogance, lack of caring or whatever. The introduction of technology has no doubt deeply shortened man-kind's attention span and most people won't read more than an inch of text now (probably less now that I think about it). So just so you know, this topic wasn't a waste no matter what people may tell you as at least one person was affected and inspired by it. Sorry if I offended anybody I didn't have any intentions of doing so. Thank you once more Helvi.

Re: Noticed High Voltage between several users

I think some people are basing their thoughts on other peoples' past actions. For example, someone tried to nullify some of my and other people's -reps to well. At first, I could see why. I just repped like this: "stop, and lrn2read". But later, when I realized that people like [removed] were "trying" to confuse me (in quotes for a reason), I tried to ignore them. Then, when well trolled me again, people -repped him with reasons like "calculusguys trying to change his ways and you keep stopping him". After that, well got it nullified when someone +repped him for "fixing your rep after it was trolled".

Tl;dr: Some people are basing their thoughts on other peoples' past actions.

Oh wait, never mind. When it comes down to it, yes, you're telling a forum bunch of 10 year olds to calm down. Your buddy is few and far between. Most kids now-a-days have the attention span of a gold fish. There's no point in arguing with them. In their mind it's "my way and my way only" *sigh* I hate my generation so much. ;_;

Re: Noticed High Voltage between several users

Amazing topic you got here Helvi. I would have to say I can pretty much assume who this is mainly directed to. But, I do understand it. Some of these guys act like rabid monkeys over such stupid things. But most people here are quite immature. It's very disappointing that kids these days act like this. I have had my arguments with a few people here, but   mostly because I was trying to prove a point.

Great topic, Helvi. You've earned a +rep for doing such, I truly hope this message gets across, but I kinda doubt it.

I agree, completely, trust me. Our generation has gone down the hill quite fast.

See the problem with this **** society is that, apparently, we have it all figured out. No one bothers to try to figure anything out and it's all there and nothing else. This leads to materialism and being superior to the other, considering of what the other individual lacks. This leads to fights, groups, mobs, etc.

A famous quote from a famous Flash movie:

How War is Started
"Your opinion stinks!"
"No, your opinion stinks!"
"I'm going to kill you so my opinion works out."
RAWRAWrmfafijewfsadg

And by the way, I doubt anyone has the will to care or read what you say Helvi. THAT is society.

Now ask yourself: Why are people numb here?

You cannot define a simplistic reason for numerous arguments. Most arguments here is because people try to say their creations were strenuous, which some disagree with. This being called an argument could & probably would be invalid.

Nobody is arguing, only giving their opinions, they are being honest. They do not mean to oppose against the owner. Only his redundant creation.

This for example: a simplistic creation like EEAB is frowned upon as it being simplistic and annoying. The owner had believed it to be expedient, a good addition to the community, though Mr. Owner didn't know it would become aids.
People disliked the owner, an argument starts settling.

Not all arguments are influenced by society, but rather an intellectual cause/effect happening.
From what I view from your definition:
One person does something stupid, they get judged, critiscized and looked down upon.
That one person tries to fight back, and an argument arises.

This isn't always the case between an argument. You cannot blame the society for an argument that they were not involved with. Making your silly definition invalid since sameness isn't an option in a large community.

Why are people numb here? You're suggesting that our community is numb. What the hell does that mean?

Re: Noticed High Voltage between several users

Numb = You cannot feel your arm, since you were sleeping on your arm the whole night ..or so.

This community is partially numb in just following "mine is better than yours" which shows ignorance at its best.
Many just cannot or don't want to adapt to changes, this applies to valid arguements as well.

For example: You tell me something I did wrong, although I imply it was correct. Your arguementation will eventually "allow" me see the other side of the medal, ..that I was wrong.
I was listening to you and understand your point of view.

Others do not and imply on some strange right to voice the one and only opinion.
