Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Re: 'Remember Me' Button

That's not what i meant, I meant that.

It doesn't remember your login, like   when you put put your email it should enter you pass.

Like when you login to forumify.

Isn't that what saving passwords in the browser does?
Remember me just logs in for you.

Re: 'Remember Me' Button

Yes, It should be just like the login for ee.forumify;
you put your email/user auto enters your pass.

That what i think it's suppose to do.

If not, then can someone tell me what it Does do?

All the remember me button does is log you in every time you get on. It's not supposed to auto enter your password.

Re: 'Remember Me' Button

That's not Right.

Even if you don't check the button it, you will still be logged on next time you get on.

You should test it out before saying.

@sirhandle Yeh that's what I mean, it should remember your pass and auto enter t for you. //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/tongue

Re: 'Remember Me' Button

Ok, to clarify (hopefully) what the remember me system does:

Upon clicking the remember me box an logging in, your IP address and port No. are stored in a database along with your account ID. So the next time you load the EE flash file it will recognize your IP address. Then it will automatically log you into the account allocated to your IP address.
I know what you're thinking (if you're a clever lad like me). If someone spoofs an IP address they can login to an account that has been allocated to said IP in the remember me system- WRONG. The system is well developed and cannot be cheated this easily.

As to the idea of the remember me working like forumify login, that Isn't possible. Your browser is what remembers your login info, and the thing that remembers form data in your web browser cannot remember text that has been typed into a flash application.

No, if you play on a public computer.

check the box you will not see the login screen until you log out or an update happens [even though chris said he had fixed it]
