For all the people who are leaving

You had a hard time thinking about leaving a computer game? I did, because I had a GOOD reason to quit EE. If you want to quit just quit and stop making those overused topics "I quit/I leave/etc.". If you really want to you can always comeback, just like I did, though I'm not back for good.

If you quit because you think that Chris doesn't update the game occasionally, you have the lowest patience level here. When a developer comes with an update you should see it as a present, not as a must. Also Chris ain't just the developer of Everybody Edits, Chris codes more games so they take time too.

SO next time Chris tells the community that he has an update we all go "OHYEAAAAAAAAH" instead of "FINALLY YOU &*@#$#^!". This game is already good as it is, an extra update in addition even if it's a bad one.

I agree, it's best to just leave instead of telling people you're leaving. I mean, sure, it's nice to know, but if I'm going to leave, I'd tell my close friends and leave it up to them to explain my absence. You would be less likely to change your mind.
When I quit Gaia, I sent one PM out to someone, giving her my account. If I hadn't done that, I'd probably still be on gaia and miserable and unable to quit.
It's better to come back and have people flood you with wondering to know where you've been than hating you for being a liar because you didn't actually quit.
I'm going to continue playing EE for as long as my life allows. I promise to never quit, or at least be the very last person to do so. Just like with eechat, I'll still be playing ee no matter how pointless it is.

Why does everybody make EE seem like a big deal? It's not. It's a game.

I agree with this. In the first forum I visited, people replaced their signature with an "I'm gone for now" message.

I remember when all you can have were basic blocks and basic smileys. And when it was just on some website as an open world to everyone. Now it's crazy.

Maybe a lot of people don't appreciate him since they haven't been around here long enough to see how much it truly has improved.
