Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I don't know if this is possible first off, but I was thinking of a bot called stroke bot where you make a mini, then you set how many keystrokes at maximum that the users can use to go on with this.

It seems possible.
Sounds interesting,But you can play with your mouse, never knew...
Not more bot stuff :/
How about, no bot.
While it would be possible to detect key presses (for the most part) it would be nigh on impossible to get rid of the players effectively.

Oh how I love when people use my name in vain.
I'm not sure about the key presses, as Aslai said I'm going to assume he meant by movements, it would take some math, however, to fully come to a conclusion of how many 'strokes' were sent.
And again, with the other people with all the "no more bots", fully agreed. There is already enough bots, most of them are un-original and were spread already.

Every time a valid key press is made, a movement packet is sent. A valid key press is anything that will cause you to move, so in a no gravity situation, up, down, left and right would be detectable. In a vertical gravity situation, left, right and jump can be detected. In a horizontal gravity situation, up, down, and jump can be detected. For every valid key press and key release, there is a packet sent.
