Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Computer Peripherals

Do you have a sweet computer peripheral that you like a lot or want to show off? Tell us about it or show us some pictures!

I'm personally pretty impressed with my new Corsair M65 in white. At least, I'm impressed with the way it looks. The contact surface of the mouse is way to small and doesn't really fit my hand super well.

I guess I'm also pleased with my ATH-M50xs (also in white). They're comfortable and sound great even without an Amp/DAC setup.

Tell us about your camera, your microphone, your headphones, your [non-mechanical (or maybe mechanical whatever I don't care)] keyboards, your mice, whatever.

also my hyperion fury G402 works great for all my copying/pasting/lennying needs. comfy and ez to use

JUST.... DO IT!

For some reason, earpads are one of the major places that cheap headphones seem to skimp on. I have some $30 bluetooth over-ear headphones with practically non-existent earpads.

Logitech mice are GOAT tbh fam, but they didn't have anything that matched my aesthetic preferences (for my desktop). I've got an MX master for my laptop, though. It's gold.

Re: Computer Peripherals

I have this neat Mayflash SuperJoyBox Pro 5 or something like that. Basically it lets me use up to 4 PS2 controllers/accessories on my PC and it's really awesome except it doesn't work if you plug more than 1 device into it which severely inhibits its awesomeness. If anyone knows of a PS2->USB adapter that supports dance mats, pls2inform me.

Like, if you try and plug more than one type of device, or if you plug more than 1 device in at all? Because if it's the latter that kind of defeats the purpose, no?

Honestly, you'd probably be better off just getting a standard USB dance mat and using that with your emulator, if possible.

How do you like 'em? I don't really listen to music very often, so I really just like my headphones because they're comfortable, clear, and white.

Pix or it didn't happen.

At one time I was interested in having my boot partition on an external drive so I could always have my computer with me (in a sense). I've kind of lost interest in that seeing as how I only ever use one of my two computers anyways.

Like a hotspot?

If you get the chance, I'd definitely try out a mechanical keyboard. It's life-changing.

More than one device at all.

Probably but I've got all these PS2 dance mats and controllers lying around and there's like 6 of us here.

Seems like "use up to 4 PS2 accessories" is a bit of a false advertisement, then. Maybe a different multitap thing would work with your dance mats? I dunno. I'd just check the Amazon electronics return policy and see if you could just try out a multitap thing and return it if it doesn't work with your stuff.

I have a Blue Snowball microphone which I have been using on discord lately. Audio quality is really great once you get the settings right.

They're amazing! I jumped from just a pair of Sony headphones and the clarity/quality is so much better.

That's a USB mic, yeah?  I really want to get a proper mic, but my pride won't allow me to get a USB mic (in part because I'm not sure how well USB audio interfaces work with Linux). Unfortunately, many of the 3.5mm/6.3mm/XLR microphones are out of my price range at the moment.

Sounds sweet. I almost wish I were more into music so I would have a reason to care about the quality of my headphones, but I save money this way. I've had my M50xs for, like, two years now, and I don't have any reason to get anything new.

And how much did it cost you? I'd love one of those. It'd be great for a tiling WM, I feel.

Nah,i just googled it and the keyboard i mention has deep keys, and has lasted like ~10 years and the only key that doesn't work anymore is the num2 and the left arrow key.
i had a shallow keyboard for like 2 months and ive already popped out ~7 keys so i switched back to this one
