offended!

so i randomly clicked on somebodys world and i really got offended by these world!

it had nazi symbols everywhere! click on his profile he has like 5 or 6 worlds just filled with them!

Seeing as I'm not from german, I don't really know whether that is legal or not.

In Germany it is not legal to promote or adverstise the swastika related to Nazi Germany. However, this does not apply to a docu movie or so. It depends on its context.

Not sure how things are handled outside of Germany

Also, the swastika is only illegal in Germany. I'm pretty sure EE isn't hosted in Germany, so there's no problem there.

So you indirectly tolerate people or images who/which activele promote the Swastika from Nazi Germany? There IS a huge difference between the Nazi Swastika and any other, especially when the mentioned user also uses the term Nazi on his map names. The users intention is clear and nothing justifies his promotional behavior on a (child) game like Everybody Edits.

If you deny this fact you also deny that the holocaust happend, do you? I don't think you deny the holocaust.
Also I believe the Nazi Swastika is pretty much illegal in several other countries like Poland, Israel, Russia, France, Denmark, Austria, Norway....

Um, yeah, sorry guys, but it's not illegal. The Nazis make up a political party that is still present to this day.

Saying this is offensive is like saying the Republican elephant (donkey?) is offensive. It's a shame, but true.

Edit: Now, I doubt the political party is present in the US, but it's in other countries.

Sorry Shift, but you should read up history a bit. The NSDAP (National-Sozialitsiche Deutsche Arbeiter-Partei - National Socialist German Labour Party) is not present these days After world war 2 the party was disbanded as crimimal organistaion due to the war crimes commited.

There might be similar parties present, but these are not related in any way with the NSDAP or simply "Nazi Party".

You said it is not illegal? So in your country I can rum around as SS soldier? I doubt this.
And of course showing favor to a forbidden organisation which was responsable for millions of deaths is offensive.

As an American, I strongly believe in freedom of speech. Even speech that is offensive. Especially speech that is offensive. After all, speech that isn't offensive doesn't really need to be protected, now does it? Also, I doubt this guy is truly promoting Nazism. He's just doing it to shock people. And if you're really "shocked" and offended at seeing a swastika, you must be pretty new to the internet.

Yeah, I guess there a few other countries with restrictions on displaying the swastika. Fact remain that EE isn't hosted in any of them.

It absolutely is not illegal to display or even actively promote the swastika/Nazism in America. Those activities fall under freedom of speech and expression.

Because they stole it from the hinduism... I think I can remember that it's allowed to report users which use swastikas in an offending way. The use of it with the term "Nazi" is offending.
