Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

VB is the easiest and the most beautiful. C# is harder, but more powerful.
And here is a quick start guide, navigate on the left. //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/wink

I'm 100% sure that OP will not learn anything from that site. Better to give him a finished project in VB and C#...

Re: Bot

If you want to write a bot, I suggest that you use C# or VB.NET. If this is your first time programming, you are kind of bound to fail because the concepts that are dealt with in writing a bot for EE are quite high level and can even trip up well experienced people from time to time. If you really wish to try, so be it; I just suggest that you set your sights a little bit lower for now.

And I could report you for a one-word post and an obvious declaration; a statement which isn't needed nor following the discussion in a logical manner.

Aslai is correct, however pretty much all the bots made for EE aren't too complex.
I'd say a good 65% of bots made for EE are nooby.
