Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Porting EE from Flash to HTML5?

How about porting EE from Flash to HTML5? Flash is a browser plugin being blocked by more and more browsers over time and probably completely discontinued within the next two years. On top of that, HTML5 is supported by most mobile browsers, so a separated app for EE would no longer ve needed, only some sort of on screen keyboard. So why doesn't the EE-team port the game to HTML5? I know it can take long because many porting from Flash to HTML5 engines aren't perfect, so many tweaks will have to come. I suggest using the bèta client for testing the new HTML5 game, and of course only for bèta players as long as the HTML5 port isn't complete.

PlayerIO doesn't support HTML5.

This.
Until PlayerIO supports HTML5 there is not much we can do.

If EE was rewritten in HTML5, I'd say it would be best to ditch Player.IO and use a Node.JS backend with Socket.IO for communication and some kind of database for storage (ASP.NET and SignalR is another option if C# was wanted for the backend). The only thing that would be harder to replicate is PayVault.

Player Since 2011. I used to make bots and stuff.

I find it risky to move all of that data.  But I assume at some point it might be required.
