Benjaminsen switched devs with SpaceTimeFoam a.k.a. Cape Copenhagen from 2012-2014. In 2014 the devs gradually switched to who we have now: Processor, NVD, Toop, and Nou (am I missing someone?)

Anyway, laundry list of updates, bla bla bla. Just make sure you followed the tutorial... If you skipped it, well...

It takes time to get used to everything. Things may seem overwhelming but once you get into it, EE feels really awesome. Also, I remember your 2011 Easter level.

Short version:

Benjaminsen didn't want to manage the game anymore, so gave it to Cape Copenhagen. Mrshoe, an employee of said company, managed updates for a while deploying them almost weekly. Unfortunately since they're a rather small company and EE is low priority, there were no updates for over a year. After many complaints, they implemented a Guardian system to help game moderation. That evolved into giving the game to Nvd (current owner) and created the current staff and game we know today.

Tl;dr Game exchanged hands twice and the current staff have no relation to the previous owners.

forum-wise, cyclone's forums went down in 2013, some people called meredith and atilla held the database ransom, then threw a fit, but different55 had most of it copied; these forums came up in february of this year.

lol I don't know about ransom but they definitely pried it out of Cyclone's cold dead hands, weren't the best owners, and would have rather seen it all burned to the ground than let me have a copy of it.
