Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

All no0b crews are just trying to imitate the ex and mg crew. It is almost sad when I go to a crappy art world called fps crew. Only should pros make crews! Not no0bs.
Everyone can make a crew. Also 'noobs'. But not everyone does like it. That's how it works in live

The crews are a vital key in turning noobs into pros. Their first crew fails. Their second is better. Then they get popular and maybe get a sucsessful crew.
I believe everyone has a right to make a crew. They might not be good, but other noobs might like them. My crew use to suck but its unknown right now but people that do know it know that im no noob.
Anyone can make a crew. Crew does not mean pro. Crew just means a group of people working together. So noobs who make crews just make noob crews. There's nothing wrong with that. All it means is that no-one will play their levels(except for noobs).
thx for sig bobithan

I totally agree with Boh.
Let the noobs have their time, or do you own whole EE? vesley

This. I remember my first crew, IBMcrew... that was probably of the worst crews ever, smiley art, terrible minis, stairs, boss-to-codes... All that crap. Now just look at my 2nd crew, KOcrew.
Noobs should be allowed to make crews, sure they make stairs and stuff, but later they will be much better.

Why should only pro's make crews? Noobs are intended to make crews with other players to develop friendships and teamwork. This technique binds Noobs together to become better players. Now, who wouldn't want that?
Here's a tip: establish yourself personally before making a crew. Nobody's going to want to join a crew made by some obscure recruit with -rep and stairs to code. Get rid of all those stairs, and do some rep-worthy stuff to go in the positives. And get famous. Known. Then people will want to work with you. Good people. That's all I have to say.
The only thing I find sad is how much people care about the pro/noob hierarchy, and players who keep their egos inflated by slagging off other peoples skill level. People can play the game however they like.
I agree with this statement. I think anybody can make their own crew if they want to, sure, they may not be capable of making the best worlds, but that doesn't mean that they shouldn't. I don't mind people taking inspiration from the better crews, its how people get better, which leads to more maps that are good. Remember, even some of the good crews started off kind of nubbish.

What everyone said above me.
Let me add that every single crew made imitates EX Crew. They were the first people who made a "crew". Thus, everyone else that makes one is an imitator.
Crews can help little nublets sprout into blossoming pros.

I totally agree. I think a crew I a way of making someone feel like they are better. I have no problem with that. It's just stuff like when people brag about being in crews that no ones heard of.

Despite how popular you think EX is, some people have made crews without even knowing what EX crew is.
And people know how to make friends, too, and like to work with them. These aren't new concepts, nor were there created by EX crew.

Anyhow, 'no0bs' make crews because they need to start somewhere. Some people don't exactly become skilled by building crap over and over again. When multiple people use their heads, you come up with new ideas and improve each other as well as yourself. That's why 'no0bs' make crews.

Moved to General Discussion. (Groups is for literal groups, General Discussion is for discussing.)
Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

Wait why are posting this if you only have 5 posts yourself noob.
Crews are help for them. Not all crews can start out just like EX crew. They have to start out small, unoticed. I have been in a few crews, so I know what I am saying. You can't just say that noob crews will always be nooby. Just like players, crews have potential. Let them do things, let them learn through nooby things.

However, EX was the first one to use the "crew" tag, which became the standard format for groups.

That happened to me. I got my other crew's inspiration from my first, and I didn't even know that the EX Crew was the first crew when I made my first crew, so technically I'm not copying the EX, right?

Why is everyone talking bout "noobs"? Its your EE community you think is inferior to you? @OP, tell me if I am a noob to question your ability to think like a man - or maybe my attempts to establish some kind of "open source crew"? Tell me a reason why some undefined part of the EE community is "noob" and YOU not? Sorry for the rant, but all these creepers - liars, self proclaimed, faked messiahs and fame seeking maniacs annoy me, in the same way they enjoy me of course. Keep up your idiotic flaming on the forum just as I did ..in hopes you understand it now.

Crews are fine, but here is my Top 3 crews:
1. Ex crew : Who can beat 'em?
2. FAI crew : They make great levels and BOT.
3. Floody crew : Digbot : best bot EVER!
You have no right to say that, vesley. All Crew starts with being a noob crew, even EX Crew. Apparently I'm pretty confident I can make better art than EX Crew's early times (Noob time).

From what I can tell, this is just another noob-hating thread, but there does seem to be some sort of discussion going on too. I'm not going to lock this just yet because I'm not sure if you guys think it should be or not.
So, if you think this thread should be locked, say "potato." 3 potatoes and it's locked.
