Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

MrScaniaV8Super: no errors?
Krock, will you add $crown <playername>, and &summon ?
&Summon will place the bot where you stand, and crown crowns the player.
addd guestbomb and the option to change the $ to ^ ! ~ or anything else
guest bomb would be awesome, but I can see how it can also be used to troll with.

interesting, I coded something like this once.
Also, No digbot, you have already given out snake which is enough.
It's depressing knowing that there is moronic and self-absorbed people like Krock who steal other people's creations, rip it off and release it to everyone.

He did? What I know does everyone have snake already. And everyone creates it too.
Not that it's really that hard to create snake anyways. creating a bot that removes blocks isn't that hard either.
But he will never come near the floodyfosh digbot nor cyph1es snake bot.
I know at least that Gbot took somethings I had in my bot. Not that I could go and cry about it.
Because it's easy to create it anyways.

Once an original, and unique idea. Now, publicized and can be used by anyone.
Did K(r)ock even ask for permission? I suppose not.
>He will never come near the floddyfish digbot nor cyph1es snake bot.
Oh, and why won't he? If it's so easy to re-create than your argumentative claim is invalidated on all terms.
It's exactly the same thing that happened to EERemake. Oh, and who did that?
Yeah. you.

Ask for permission, from who?
I said making a bot that remove blocks and a basic snake isn't that hard to create.
Happened to EERemake? Nothing happened. Just you that took it down. Not me.

Krock, please make it available for Facebook accounts. http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/api/
The link doesn't work for me...
THIS IS AWESOME!
Nice bot. Don't release it to the public though

Not so much that it was taken down, but for the reason it was.
I like how you act stupid to avoid the blatant obviousness.
If you can't understand what I'm saying then you're rationally insane for even being impeccable and still wondering why nobody is listening anymore.
Re-read what I've said thoroughly until you understand the statements.

Ignore the troll. Trolls gonna trolls, and builders gonna create.
Krock, everything you have done is great on my book, and I am pretty sure with 75% of the community is definitly proud of what you have contributed.
Just because crap loses it's orginiality doesn't mean lifes over because the qauilty stuff you have shared with us will always create more tactics and ideas anyways.
And, I am glad my EERemake is doing better then ever, since it does get 500 page views.
and I also refuse to understand your statements because it is stupid to believe the bottom of the community that no one really understands or likes, which is "YOU" Atilla. You constantly trash on work scaring them off.
This isn't the best snakebot, but it is for one, a start.
If krock really dedicates his time to his bot, he can really create a snake that is based on the number of bricks, and not time.
So, I will continue to do my EE Remake, encourage OTHERS to do it, and show them tutorials!
Because everyones effort is not to be wasted by some community trash, and I am also happy DOH is defending your project to.
Thank you, Doh.

I believe that other people should have the right to have their creations original. When you copy someone else's bot, it is like copying someone else's world.
The owner doesn't like it, and in this case I'm sticking up for the owners who actually created it in the first place
You refuse to understand what I'm saying because you want to own every bot there is; your selfishness that likes to perpetuate these things.
I had no problem with Kock's bot until he started ripping off of Cyph1e's Snake which I am fully against.

Alright, I shall degrade your argument right here, and right now, if you don't fully understand, your just making it trollworthy debate. This is the real reason this is okay, and you should not rip your heart out and debate: It is the internet.
More importantly:
We are discussing something that anyone who has their hearts and minds set to.
MORE IMPORTANTLY:
You want originality? You do something pretty damn impressive.
This is a game, not some place where you can create something and have your ideas protected by copyright, or trademark.
If someone wants something done, well damn well; if they have the skills to do it, go ahead... Want to share it with the public? Go ahead.
Your just one of those people fighting the "it is going to happen no matter what".
Deal with it. I support this project because I can finnaly do what I want to.
Sure the internet does not need to be some place with trolls, but it is.
Again, I shall say you should just deal with it.
Also,
that Ex crew Snake bot is impressive, and far more then this one, however...
I can think the owner will improve it in the future.
More remarkably, this owner is bringing technology for everyone to use, like EE Animator.
Sure, no one uses it because it requires a bit of intellegence to use, or just lazy..
If you want an idea trademarked, or copyrighted, or fully copy-proof, then you go get the legal crap done for it.
You do NOT complain about copies, sure they suck, but it happens if you are a good level maker.
crap happens.
Also, I am very happy you are defending a project, however I don't think the project is that impressive for the Chyph1e to hide the technology from us. *end rant*

What do you mean when you say Cyph1e is hiding the technology from us? Chris himself makes it plain as day what technology to use. All you need is the Player.IO library, which is publicly available, a compatible language, and a small tad of information from the SWF, which can be found with free/shareware.
And ?tilla, you're one to talk about "stealing" other peoples ideas. You were saying just the other day that you were going to try and recreate my MIDI bot... Just so all you guys know: there is no such thing as total originality. It's just that some things are more original than others.
All things aside though, I don't see much of a problem with bots, even public bots. Sure, spambots suck, but things like Cyph1nator and KasBot are just plain awesome. Want to know what is even cooler than making a bot for EE though? Making your own game and not having to share the fame with anyone! When you make a bot for EE, you're leeching off the fan base for EE. When you make your own game, you make your own fan base!
So I have a proposition: how about all of us stop writing bots, and collaborate on an epic game? Yay or nay? With enough support, I'll make a topic.

To learn about midi stuff, and yes. I did recreate it, but it failed on some parts. T'was only a test, and I didn't show it publicly. =P
I'd be fully willing to give up on creating bots. The only reason I started was to learn about EE and mess with its exploitations. I think I've learned enough.
However, I do understand Persona's point of view and agree with it to an extent. If bots were original and people would stop ripping off of other people's ideas and saying it's all theirs, then it wouldn't be a problem.
However, take into fact that Bots can be used to ruin EE in many ways.
You don't want everyone to make bots when you know that anyone could start being unfair in another way.
EE Cheating has became a very rare thing to find, which is kind of good.
I'm not too much into the cheating aspect anymore, it seems almost useless.
I support your act, however I am doubtful that it will work out.
Good luck.

So, what makes claiming of levels, to what you said "ideas"
If bots were original and people would stop ripping off of other people's ideas and saying it's all theirs, then it wouldn't be a problem.
Sure, I hate against it too, and speaking against it, just like you did a while ago, I then relised that this again, is a game, this is not something to be considered end of the world to EE. This is the internet, and it happens.
Your fighting the inevitable.
This bot isn't completly original, but hell its pretty good compared to some out there 8268 bot who over protected thier bot and recently made alot of the features crew only, and the gbot that did not at all have spam protecting..
This bot has much potential. I support it.

Against This idea because your idea is not complete.
Games take more effort, and stress, and TIME.
Besides, why not make an assisting tool for a good game?
It also takes a damn amount of effort for an fanbase, which could be this.
But then what would the idea be?
