Contradicting

Almost every single person on this forums complains about bots. Saying that bots ruin the game and saying "Everybody Edits died a second time" (quote of an EE forum member). But in the sub-forum "Rooms" the levels that are being made by bots have most of the time:

1) the most views
2) the most replies
3) the most plays

Ofcourse people say that these we're "original" or fun. But this is contradicting. Someone is game said "Ruining the game is fun, thats why bots are fun", seeing that people think like that makes my think, why? An other quote "Bots ruin the game", 5 minutes later I met him in the level "YO!scroll" trying to win the game.

Though people would use the argument "those bots are fun, but art making bots and copied bots ruin it". The original bots we're the start of this, if no one made an original bot, no one could copy it and no one would every notice that Everybody Edits is missing something. I'm not blaming the makers of these original bots, I thank them, for bringing something special into the game and contributing on the game.

I ask you, where would Everybody Edits be without level that aren't made by bots. I'll tell you, Everybody Edits wouldn't be the same, filled with stairs, sprites art and obviously boxminigames. But next to that, we would be releaved when a proper crew brings out a nice level. We still are, but now it's different because most people keep playing the pre-made bot levels.

That's rather exaggerating isn't it? There's just a handful of jealous people who think EE is a popularity contest and don't have bots and so they complain. People complain about everything all the time, you can't listen to them all.

It is, but I did that to make a statement. People should be more open for changes, I'd say bots is the next step of Everybody Edits, just a phase. Though it will keep being here, just like box minis etcetera.

Don't tell me your on the Antibots..   Its illogical to keep technology from being released publicly if it could do something good.

Bots that are made for specific levels are good and fun, but ones that are shared around that serve no purpose are the ones that ruin ee.

Yea I hate certain bots but not all. I hate all the bots that are shared, but I like all the pvt bots. I like Jojatekok's key code bot even though it's public it's good for making keys for my map and other maps.
