Why hasn't the EE twitter account tweeted for ~5 years?

The latest tweet on EE's twitter @EverybodyEdits is about 5 years old. It doesn't seem to be active. Why hasn't anyone tweeted/replied since, and why is it represented on the website with an icon?

A ton of people use twitter, and it would be a good way to increase EE's userbase. It's really not my authority to poke my nose into internal matters, so to speak.

We've been in contact with Benjaminsen about this on several occasions. It's still registered to him, he's been trying to reset his password but there's some issues with that.

We want to use it too.

But then they wouldn't have the subscribers (or whatever you call them; I don't use twitter)

Exactly. That account has 2000 followers.

Exactly. That account has 2000 followers.

then just get Chris to retweet a tweet by the new account.
That would give a more accurate representation of how many of those followers still care.
