Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Re: Shuck this fick o-o

I'd like to know what they're trying to fix. If it's a cheat system failure, that's understandable, but if it's just a mini that needs to be changed, I think they should fix it in another level first then transfer it instead of leaving it private for a while.

It's a cheat system failure. There's a mini that kicks people for no reason. They are working on fixing the anti-cheat system.

Because within that time a fix for antigrav being detected as cheating was installed, but in turn caused issues elsewhere.

Plus, this campaign has been ready since way before EE2.0 launch

With so much functionality, so much code, so many possible game states and interactions, it's impossible to test everything that can possibly happen. Even after a million hours of testing for bugs there would still be bugs. The staff is only human.

I have permanently left the game and forum.
EE is an entertaining game and I enjoyed playing it...
...but it's time for me to move on.

Oh... I thought they were robots...

Despite what people say, Different55 is the best mod.

Totally agree, but my definition of ready is ready to be released. i don't see any reason why they didn't put it into beta test before releasing it publicly first.
I think that every new campaign etc. schould first be beta tested to assure that such bug's do not happen.

If we watch carefully we can see Ipwners dialect evolving from using too many z's to almost being english

thinking along these lines, you're sorta wrong. I feel that the complexity of EE is basic enough to allow for "a million hours of testing" to completely test every possible nuance. (114 years, for comparison)

I've also been in y'all's shoes. I agree, it's not particularly enjoyable or fruitful to look for every bug you made. BUT I also know (all too well) that most of the bugs I don't find are because I'm too lazy to sit down and look for them. Point being, humans are lazy. It's also easier to simply have a "beta test" (or in this case, everyone test) to catch the bugs. The true test of mettle is how long it takes to fix the bugs. :\
