paying for chat

im playing some EE right and i wanted chat right and i looked at it and i was like i have to pay 1 cent for this! that's just saying i cant talk untell im told to! and i think chat should be free! beta is a good price and all but the chat just made me kinda mad the parent thing is stupid too! if a person swears in chat they should be banned for like a day! because making EE a swear free game would be better or if some one made a rude map the player should be able to report that level! cus i want to speak freely

Chat is not free because people abuse it.

Yet it is also conveying that Chris thinks people with money are more mature than people without.

However you look it, I think it's better th eway it is now. Like bgic said, do you want noobs coming around every 5 seconds and asking you for your account or the code to your level?

I like the fact you have to pay for it. Think about it, there is a 45 people limit to a world. So in a full world people would be chatting so fast that you can't even read what is being said.

If anyone remembers that 10 mins when quick-chat was brought in all you could see on the sidebar was:

You got it all wrong.
The purpose of parental control is not to prevent users from swearing. Chris doesn't make any money from chat, that's why it only costs 1 cent, but to get it you need a bank account which means you either need to be adult or you need your parent's agreement, because not every parent want their child to talk to strangers on the internet.
