piano is confusing

Piano on everybody isn't about the notes it's about the timing. It's like trying to do a painting only knowing the paints and no idea what to do.

I think you should use the stair thing if you're having trouble with timing. If it goes too fast then put the notes further away and if it's too slow put the notes closer together.

I will give you a tip, because I'm nice, with an avarage tempo then one drop on the stairs is about a semiquaver, making 2 a quaver, 4 a Minim, and 8 a semibreve. Although If you are making music with semibreves you may want to fill the void with a something like a walking bass in a lower octive.
