Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I'm not trying to be joykill here. I am only concerned for the safety of the forum users, and open sharing only raises the risk. I've received several reports that fhjrjidih's bot he just posted was something of a virus, which only shows what I mean.
I think everybody should be understanding of this and accept the fact the internet is not safe without proper handling.
I like bots. They're great tools and can create some fun times. I have shared bots myself via PM's to the people I think deserve it and won't abuse it. You should do the same, krock and other developers.
Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

Use MD5 checksum next time. Add it on your site. And give people a tool that detect if the exe have the same size as the one on your site.
If not. Then they shouldn't use it.

http://www.win.tue.nl/hashclash/SoftIntCodeSign/ Until you see that.
might want to realize that MD5 checksum < SHA-1... =P
It's possible to have 2 identical MD5 hash values for two separate programs if you have same size...
Fun.

{Edit} Only you among a small group of others would say mass bot creation is bad.
I see you've done some research into how much of the whole EE community would say mass bot creation is bad. Care to share all of your results?

Fun.
You must have really good luck if you can change a whole file without change the size.
What I can see there did they only change 1 character. And I don't think 1 character in a edited version of krocks bot would do any harm. Even if I can look it up how the program works.

^ I SAID NO MORE FIGHTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lol. But seriously dont fight about this. Its over. Nobody won...
Eh. Sure.
Bot's are both admired by the people who want it to have fun, and bad from the people who already own, or enjoy the concept..
Out of all the posts in here:
11 people support this. This is a small amount from the community really uses this. I advertised a level in EE for around 3 hours (only crashed twice ) and a majority had no issues, infacted enjoyed thier new bot.
8~9 people either disagree with this, or don't give a hoot in hell.
It's a pretty close ratio if you ask me, however this forum is full of people who would disagree because they are more dedicated to the game.
Where as people with the bot's just want it to have fun and use, so why not?
Your only wrecking thier fun, thier pride, and more or less trying to control what they-or it actions really want, even when you couldn't control them with out admin powers anyways.
I will remain to advertise on EE because it was
1) More sourceful there.
2) More effective.
3) It is allowed there.
I'm done commenting on this post period.
I hope to contribute alot more time into advertising this bot out.
Krock man, don't stop what you are doing.
Thanks for making an good side of EE even better.
@mod Takoman. So why are you trying to protect your community? I have an advertisement RIGHT now as I am typing this that is most likely a virus infecting download.
Sure you cannot control it. Point is: I think it is more just you stopping "the drama" and agreeing with the other side here.
I'll stop there. You couldn't convince me with out removing the ban on linking to bots.
{Edit - sorry just HAD to fix a few mistakes}

Can we just stop fighting please?
We all (Well, not all) want the bot, but fighting about it will do nothing.
Stop it with all this shiiiiiiii- crap.
