Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

It defeats the purpose of Everybody Edits.
EE is a sandbox game where the player is meant to make your own level and play other players levels with certain objectives.
Adding a campaign mode seems to take away the point of sandbox, because it would mean that nobody could build in their world.
It's just my opinion. Nobody may care. Put what you think below :3

The objective of campaign is to get new players to feel like they have accomplished something, thus the rewards.
For old players it gives them something to do than AFK/chat/whatevertheydo in worlds.

Nothing will change, only the players will be more competitive and less casual.
This is a false statement.

Campaigns aren't going to be the only objective of ee. Sure, the hype of it will be strong for a little, but it will die down and it will just be a feature there for players when they get bored.

The campaign is basically a way to feature worlds and motivate players to try and beat them. It's not like it's an rpg style campaign or anything so it doesn't defeat the point of EE at all...

Some people have seem to forgotten the fact that not every world will turn into an editless campaign level. Only through careful selection by the dev team will these worlds be included, WITH the consent of the world owner. Let me add that these worlds will most likely be complete and carefully modded prior to submission, meaning that there probably isn't any need to edit the level anyway. The majority of popular levels in EE do not require further modifications for people to enjoy them, and I think adding a campaign only makes a finished level even more splendid with the plunder of rewards that await.
Campaigns will in no way hinder the progression of worlds being made, except for your negative attitude.

campaigns add to those certain objectives.

If you don't want to not be able to edit your world then simply tell the mods you don't want to feature it in a campaign (assuming they offered you a chance).
Its the other players' choice if they want to permanently remove edit rights to their world or not.

EE stopped being EE long ago, when Benjaminsen added world codes. I don't know why you're saying this now.
ok

It's still a sandbox game. You still make whatever you want, but now we're promoting the worlds that we like, and awarding you for playing them. It's not a contest between people, necessarily.

I'm too lazy to type it out again but you can see my response to this here:

Honestly this topic could be merged with that one...

because it would mean that nobody could build in their world.
Which is why players are given an agreement form. IF they decline, they can still build their worlds...

Not only that, but the worlds are already built
They only lose access to that particular world, not all of them (I feel like there might be some confusion there? or maybe I just read it wrong).

Exacta-tactly.
Not only that, but the worlds are already built
Thats the big thing. Lots of builders make worlds and then keep them like that. Those are the kinds of worlds that will be featured, not worlds that are regularly used for building with friends, bossing, or anything else that requires editing.
I myself have a dozen or so worlds that I almost never change except to fix bugs, and many people have way more than that.
