Well, let's use some fundamental logic to see maybe why people aren't interested.

- You have to be there at that specific time, hello time zones!
- It's unlikely that a team is going to arise that can sufficiently fulfill art, minis, and programming. It's a lot more likely that that there would be a team that can group up to create just a normal world. It's a lot easier to find team members that way.
- This contest is straight up weird. It's more of a "You have no idea what you're doing, but show up and just hope you know what to do" rather than a "Here's a topic, do the best you can the way you like it" - the second of which is much more popular.
- Team members are likely to be from different time zones, good luck pulling that off given the first thing I listed.

You seem to be upset for two (three?) reasons.
- You feel that 50 gems should make people drop everything and jump out of the window. Given that this contest is the polar opposite of straightforward, and that we have no idea what we're meant to create, I don't think 50 gems is 'worth it' in the eyes of some people. You would certainly get some feedback if the 50 gems was for a regular themed world that single players or teams could create on their own time.
- You feel that you aren't being acknowledged as an EE member hosting a contest. I'm not going to bother writing out a wall of text that explains this. But just note this - look at the OP topics of other contests hosted by EE players that have been successful and then look at yours. If that doesn't hint you at a few reasons for why it's not a huge success, I don't know what to tell you.
- You feel that the 'hour' you spent writing the post went to complete waste. Quite frankly, it 100% did. Although I highly doubt it took you a full hour to write that OP, just think about if this contest was a success, how many more hours would have been poured in by entrants. Using BuzzerBee's contest as reference - I would guess that him and the judges put in about 5-8 hours total on that contest, and at least 100 hours were put in collectively by the entrants. It's just about the idea and how it's executed. Simple themed level contests will always be more popular than anything else and that's the truth.
