Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Re: Effect blocks...

There is a disable option when you click on them. Just scroll past the enable to get to disable.

Yeah but it would be nice to have a timer on them.

Click on the effect block, then set the option to false.  When a user passes over it, the effect will wear off.

I think he means with a timer, like with the potions.

Re: Effect blocks...

Theoretically you could put disable blocks in the world where you want it to wear off, or you could combine curse+effect to kill them after a certain amount of time. giving it a timer though sounds like an interesting suggestion. You can post in suggestions or request this thread be moved there.

That's a good idea Bee

Re: Effect blocks...

I meant like a timer, that you could set yourself. Also can't the mods move it to game suggestions?

Yes they can, but you have to bug them.

I've bugged them for you for this thread. //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/smile

NO THANK YOU. This is exactly why they removed the potions, we don't wanna be limited AGAIN, don't give them any ideas.

What's wrong with giving creators more capabilities in terms of making worlds? //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/smile

It's not like the timer would be forced on all effect blocks, what's wrong with giving level builders more control over their tools? I can think of at least one situation that would benefit from limited effects. Like flying from one place to another while dodging obstacles over a limited amount of time. If you fail you fall and have to try again.

I really like this idea, it would be good for a race world, you could have a speed power up that wears off after you get a quick speed boost.

Re: Effect blocks...

Like how Eliot said this would be great to make power ups that you can get. Also effect doors + gates so that if you finish the min fast u will need to wait.
