Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

The Armor Games version of EE has been down for how long now? Nearly a month?
Thanks to the creators of EE for not telling us ANYTHING officially
Thanks to the creators of EE for not allowing us to transfer our accounts
I'll never play EE again. It has turned out to be a waste of so many hours and money.
You can go and say it's Armor Games' fault, but in the end, it's the creators of EE's fault for being so rude to their formerly loyal users. The creators of EE should have allowed those who asked to transfer their account to everybodyedits.com. Instead, we get ignored pretty much completely.
All we've gotten is someone's pasted chat conversation with Chris saying that it's not his fault. This is poppycock.
I hereby call on all of you to boycott EE.

I hereby tell you to;
1. Learn to spell better.
2. Check old topics, because I remember reading something about it saying that it's not EE's or chris' fault, it's armor games, and your accounts are safe.
3. You're overreacting.
4. I'm boycotting this boycott.
1. Non sequitur. hereby and boycott
2. This statement doesn't respond to my post.
3. You obviously don't have an armorgames account. I'm not overreacting. I'm just not going to play the game anymore.
4. Suit yourself.
I'm with ya, Jerethustra. I'm done with EE.
Any idea how it would be possible to get money back (even a partial refund)?
I won't say it was entirely a waste of time--after all I did get some hours of entertainment out of it. But all the effort to get stuff, build levels, etc is wiped out. But my ongoing loyalty is NIL because of the lack of any sort of official response, ETA, etc from any of the people who run the show.
The only option left is to restart on everybodyedits.com, and that means paying for Beta/Chat again. Actually, I wouldn't bother paying for Beta since you don't get a da** thing from it except a useless friend system that nobody uses.
But at this point, I'm done. Goodbye.
I think this includes everything that this topic and the armor games situation is covered. If you still aren't happy, well I can't do anything about your emotions now can I?

These convenient little conversations with Benjaminsen via Nou would have been found if you simply searched "armor games" with the handy dandy search tool located on the top of the forum page. So Benjaminsen HAS told you something, and It WOULD NOT be easy to transfer accounts. Especially with Chris at the helm.
[11:58:04] Nou: hey there
[11:58:12] Benjaminsen: hey
[11:58:15] Nou: any news on the armor games section?
[11:58:23] Benjaminsen: Armor is working on it
[11:58:33] Nou: people cant play there and not knowing what's going on makes them kinda unhappy
[11:58:40] Nou: ah so it's not up to you to fix
[11:58:42] Nou: alright
[11:58:48] Nou: any time window we're looking at?
[11:59:04] Benjaminsen: nope, don't feel good comitting to deadlines for things I can do nothing about
[11:59:13] Nou: alright, makes sense
[11:59:25] Nou:oh and they havent lost their accounts right? just temporarily lost access to it
[12:03:35] Benjaminsen: nope, nothing is lostThere. So Armorgames has to fix it, Chris can't do anything about it. All you can do is wait.
[15:19:40] Nou: any news from armor games btw? it's been a month and it's still not up there
[15:30:06] Chris Benjaminsen: working on it
[15:31:11] Nou: alright
[15:31:28] Chris Benjaminsen: mostly [we're waiting on stuff to arrive from AG]
[15:31:32] Chris Benjaminsen: it has now, last friday
[15:31:42] Nou: ah, so at least stuff is happening, good
I'll never play EE again. It has turned out to be a waste of so many hours and money.
I honestly can't say I ever knew you, but this is where I got the overreacting part.
You can go and say it's Armor Games' fault, but in the end, it's the creators of EE's fault for being so rude to their formerly loyal users. The creators of EE should have allowed those who asked to transfer their account to everybodyedits.com. Instead, we get ignored pretty much completely.
Wait, wait. Loyal users? I think I've been a loyal user since the thing came out. Through thick and thin buddy. You have NOT been ignored and you HAVE received news that you have neglected to even incorporate into this post.
All we've gotten is someone's pasted chat conversation with Chris saying that it's not his fault. This is poppycock.
I posted the chat conversation to show everyone. It is not his fault, so stop blaming him, because in truth, it isn't his fault.
If you really wanted to try and do something more, just e-mail armor games or Chris for darn sake.
Also, didn't you say we have heard nothing from Chris? Well you just answered your own argument.
I hereby call on all of you to boycott EE.
Sure are loyal now aren't you. This isn't going to work anyway.
1. Non sequitur. hereby and boycott
2. This statement doesn't respond to my post.
3. You obviously don't have an armorgames account. I'm not overreacting. I'm just not going to play the game anymore.
4. Suit yourself.
1. Just saying, if you even want people to help, you gotta at least look smart.
2. It responds to your post, because everything that is said there you are neglecting to USE and wrap around on. It's not Chris' fault.
3. I don't have an Armor Games account, and I'm sure it would be upsetting! I was trying to help but you respond with a bad attitude. Don't blame Chris for Armor Games' problem and you making an account on there, because that's stupid.
Please look for older topics instead of making a new one, the issue has been addressed several times, and Im sure old posts would help your poor soul out.

You will not be able to get a refund.
Official response is up there, please look.
You could restart, or instead of complaining and making forum posts, contact with e-mail to armor games or Chris. I'm sure you'd get some reply.
And if you still insist on leaving, have a good life.

Hey,
I agree this is very unfair to players who happened to register using Armorgames, and regardless of whose side the problem is on, Chris should take ownership and should have provided some way of transferring the accounts from Armorgames to Everybodyedits.com. It wass very unprofessional for Chris to have a portion of his user-base rely on a third party in the first place, but then to offer no official response and to not have had a plan in the first place for such an occurrence is inexcusable. If Everybody Edits were entirely free my response would be different and I'd tell you to move on with your life, but once Chris added extra content for a price, regardless of whether the payments were thrown under a guise of donation, it would be simply good manners for him to at least acknowledge any problems afflicting donators.
What he said ^

I agree with Thy Cowman, and the OP.
I would be EXTREMELY fed up with waiting a month with no new info from Chris. A conversation on the forum shouldn't be how he talks to us, he needs to update his blog, something people check more often.
What chris should do is get Armor games to fix it, or get a way for him to transfer accounts.
I do agree Chris should at least make a blog post addressing such a serious and frustrating issue. A random person having a chat with Chris and posting it on an unofficial forum is not a proper way to share information with the player base. A lot of people affected by this issue probably don't even know these forums exist since there isn't even a link on the main site anymore.
Oh boy. I guess people didn't think this over too much. Transferring accounts.
It seems like a good idea, and it would be: if it were completely possible.
Now, look at it this way. Chris does have access to player data, he can move it and edit it as he pleases.
However, despite that, in order to move the data properly, you would need to make people able to send it somewhere.
This would have a solution of an email-address, something that Chris does not and will most likely not have access to.
Just a simple point of view, I actually did no research regarding Chris's access to email-addresses, but I'm fairly certain ArmorGames wouldn't just give personal information out like that.

Just tell armor games, but not here.
Did... did you actually say "poppycock"?
So anyway, I will go ahead and say it's Armor Games' fault, and in the end it's Armor Games' fault for allowing the issue to happen and for not fixing it. Chris is unable to do anything about the issue until he gets certain, extensive information from Armor Games, and we all know that's never going to happen. Instead of complaining to the good guy who can't do anything about the problem, you ought to complain to the bad guy who allowed the issue and refuses to fix it.
I, and many of my friends play the AG version, and you don't see us complaining. Sure I have posted a fair share of hate, but I still remember that the percentage of fault to each end is 90 - 10, the ninety being Armor Games. Just wait it out, and be glad the game hasn't been lost completely.
All we've gotten is someone's pasted chat conversation with Chris saying that [b]it's not his fault[\b]
Give the poor man some sympaty, he's not superman you know! He can't do anytjing about it. Stop harrasing him!
Well, since it's still not working apparently, aren't you being forced to boycott it since you can't get on it anyway?
And how is it being rude when it's something completely out of Chris's control? If anything, you should boycott Armor Games, not EE.

Okay, 1st of all. You guys post your complaints here instead of emailing chris. That's your biggest mistake. Chris doesn't use the forums, it's a fan forum after all. So he's not ignoring you, he doesn't even see posts.
2nd. I lol when you say "loyal" users. If you're trying to boycott EE, you aren't a loyal user.
3rd. Chris can't fix it. Armor games has to. You're blaming Chris, for Armor game's mistakes.
4th. Your only sort of valid point, Chris could transfer the accounts. Some of these comments say he can't, but I know for a fact he can. I got my account transferred from Kongregate A while back. I had to pick a new user-name (that's where I got my 1) but all my account data was saved.
5th. How are the creators being rude to us. If they we're being rude they would be banning, and cussing out people left and right. They do what's best for the game. That's not rude at all. Although I have to admit, he did try to ban me for something I didn't do one time.
Overall, Stop complaining. It takes time to fix things. Just wait it out, or start a new account on the site for a while until its back up. Or just play a different game for now. It'll be back, it just takes some time.

Well, more and more progress is made on the AG version, you can check the AG EE client here!
Also, apparently they might change the log-in token very soon from now, as debug info has been added to the error message!
Of course, we dont want anything special, or stuff like that (well...okay...actually we want...xD) but we have a massive updates delay!
The last update that we managed to catch was the viking pack. We've reached day 3 after it appeared (that day the AG log-in system was taken down). If you make some calculations, you would see that we lost a lot of energy!
It would be nice if we at least get that energy back, or get the stuff that appeared during the AG "blackout" for free (but knowing chris, these are just dreams).:/

I've written Chris three times as comments to his blog posts. Not only were the posts never posted on the website, he never responded to me. I just found a his direct email and sent him a message. His email is [email protected]
In the end, the blame goes to Chris for the way he is handling this. How can I know whose fault it is? We havn't received any OFFICIAL comment on the blog telling us what's going on. People keep on posting the chat logs, but these aren't official comments.
It takes literally five minutes to post a note keeping us updated on what's going on. That's not too much to ask for. Or, he can at least say there's a NDA with regards to the progress so we can't know anything.

You are over-reacting way too much. It's just a game.
Offline
EE is just a game like Master1 said. You can't expect armorgames to devote every second of their time to fix this. Armor games has plenty of other games to play, and that they might need to fix. A loyal user doesn't quit because of this. Even though you can't play really, make a new account, alt on the EE site. I'm like drock2308, I haven't quit because of no update for a while, bad update, etc and don't plan on it. If you mean loyal, stick with EE then

Guys, it's not just a game, it's a game that they loved. Such reaction is normal. Honestly, you people who's against OP is instead overreacting about this.

Aoitenshi, the people who are against the OP are only pointing out that Chris has no control; their not denying the issue's existence.

Well, common sense is always good. It could tell you that Chris couldn't possibly have control over Armor Games.
You DID receive an official message. As other players from Armor Games have stated, you can see an error message, aka an official acknowledgment of the issue. I don't understand why you need a pretty blog post in order to see that Chris knows about the problem.
That's about as official as it gets.

The only thing I am against about is how Chris didn't officially tell everyone what was happening, and he still hasn't. The fact that people say "if you leave a game, you are not loyal", is only because you are not facing the issue. Some people donated to the game, and purchased beta, and are really irritated against this. Plus, a loyal user would go out of their way to figure out what the hell is going on. Some people think Everybody Edits Armor Games has ended because of the fact, no !@#$ing word has come out on the blog. If I was someone who just wanted to play the game, I wouldn't take anything too serious until it comes out of the birds mouth on a trustful source, such as his blog. Some people don't even know about the forum, heck even know about the conversation to Chris.
Chris does have control of it somewhat, and that is keeping up to date with Armor games, continually sending them emails to make sure they are working out with the issue.. Saying Armor Games is busy doesn't excuse the fact that this issue has been underlying for the past month.
"It's just a game" is one of those sayings that I just want to punch the person behind the computer who said that. Its a petty excuse. This is a game people have spent money on, and hours on. Why? Its fun, and some people like it. If it was JUST a game, I would have quit LOOONG ago. I paid 10 dollars for beta, and I expect what I paid for is some good solid updates to chris. I would be extremely fed up with waiting, if I were effected by this issue.
Chris is lazy, very !@#$ing lazy. I am only here because I like the game.
If I known this would be how he treated us, I wouldn't have spent a single penny on this game.
The OP is not over-reacting, (well I guess the boycott thing is.. Only thing I can talk bad about the OP on), but just frustrated that after a month, no update has occured about EE on armor games. If you were him, don't lie, you'd be fed up too.

Do you know the Sony Playstation Network was hacked about a year ago? If not, delete your system32 file. How did sony tell people? In a blog post. Now, take it they are a major company, who deals with MUCH commercial stuff. Sony was blamed for lack of information through out the investigation, in which they were Shunned for. A blog post wouldn't be enough to tell customers right, because I would have never thought to check there, if I was a casual gamer.
Now, lets modify that and say Everybody Edits failed to tell its consumers that Armor games was taken down, and that he has no control over it. More steps should be ensured that data is either transfered, or exported and imported from the AG version. I know that data is stored somewhere, if chris has no control over it, then he needs to contact armor games about it.
Chris DOES have some control over it, its his game after all. He can guide users (forms and surveys) on getting thier accounts back. Its not alot of work when you think about it. You have an assistant, your only moving data from one server to another. And if it isn't easy, aleast attempt at it.

So what you're saying is that they made a blog post, and it wasn't enough. A BLOG POST didn't satisfy them. Hm...

He DID contact Armor Games about it, as was revealed in one of the chat logs. Problem is, Chris needs every player's full Armor Games account information in order to even start to make a transfer. Now put yourself in Armor Games' position. If some random guy walked up to you on the street and asked, "Yo dude wanna hook me up with your credit card information?" would you respond by giving him your credit card information or by punching him in the face?
And so the issue the remains: Chris needs data, and Armor Games needs to defend its data.
