I think it would be a good idea. Some people might be better at other things than others, and the contest might happen to be about a thing they're not good at, and then they simply can't get that smiley. But what if one of the winners already had it? Small increase to other rewards?

If people voted the best world they thought, there would be problems, cheats and other things. I think it´s better the judges vote...

I would say people should vote in eeforums, I know it's harder, but it's better than having problems with cheats or having bad judges.

Not sure you can say someone was a bad judge when they are judging art. He picked what he thought was best, and what followed the guidelines. If you think your judgements are better than his, make your own contest.

If there will be a new contest, can we at least use a whole world with at least 200x200? I hate being stuck in 10x10 spaces like in sci-fi and loading screen contest.
Oh and maybe this time judge the only thing that really matters if it is a playable level, having fun.

i like that the chicken comes back this easter so we can find him maby something you need to find eggs with maby a suprise in it and that is then maby 1 gem or a chicken smiley

IMO originality should be one of the things that are important in some contests. For example, if there was a contest of making the best mechanic with only things in the game, it could be terribly ugly, but creativity and originality are important. The loading screen contest was an art contest, and people just did what looks good. You can make a world that is a normal world but with reversed colours to the contest, which might be original and creative, but not that good looking.

For all of you who think originality should have been judged too, why didn't you bring this up earlier? When you entered the contest, you knew what was being judged. If you wanted it to also be judged based off of originality too, you should have said it before sign ups ended. It is far to late to complain about it now.

As far as reusing the artist smiley goes, I'm against it. It is not because I already won it, but because I don't think contest smilies should ever be reused. If we ever did reuse it, what happens to those who already won it? They don't get to benefit from winning the new contest at all. The prizes need to be equal for everyone.
