How to do an avatar?

I try all the time to send the image avatar. but it ever says the same thing: Your avatar is too large and then the forum don't allow me to upload.
Can u guys please tell me what are requirements to make an avatar?

It must not be any bigger than 120 x 120 pixels and 40,960 bytes (40 KiB).

Google "Image resizer" and edit your avatar to fit those requirements. After you downloaded it, you can check out it's size in KiBs to make sure everything is allright.

There is another way to know if your image is too big for an avatar.

The biggest EE avatar that can be uploaded has 7,5 bricks (7 bricks and 8 pixels of an 8th brick) width and 7,5 bricks height.
