the pit (recurring fantasy art contest)

UPDATE: use your own worlds now.

rules:
1) entries go in specified world.
2) must be fantasy art, may include accual gameplay.

procedures:
1) tell all what size of world to use and everyone in my list notify's me whether they can or not, if they can they notify me when they are done.

additional notes:
1) no more limit to competitors at a time.
2) i will proboly need 2-4 other people to help me determine if a creating is fantasy or not. pm me if interested (but you may not compete and must be on daily) IMPORTANT.
3) contest's may take anywhere from a couple hours to a couple days... ...please be patient.

accepted "fantasy art":
1) anything pertaining to fantasy that follows the game rules and isn't adressed below)
2) fantasy creatures. (unicorns, hydra, chimera, vampires, wherewolfs...)
3) anything that might be in a fantasy setting. (example: a castle/flying ship/pirate ship)
4) some "steampunk" (read below post for details), just as long as it doesn't break rules below basically.

UNaccepted "fantasy art":
1) anything no matter what with modern day stuff... ...the modern day fantasy setting are not accepted.
2) modern guns are not accepted. ("dwarven" guns are though...)
3) mythology is not considered fantasy.

Woo! I'm totally making an organ gun. But mine will shoot real organs hehe.
So I may as well give it a try. Although I'm not good at fantasy in-game so it'll be fun. What time and what GTM does it start?

1) do you mean like it shoots organs from people or like the instrument.

2) "dwarven" is like really primative large guns in some fantasy settings.

3) whenever i have people and am on it will start.

NOTICE: rule update, mythololgy is not considered fantasy.

It would be a lot easier to have people make their art in their own worlds.   That way they don't have to wait for you to be online.

the idea is it is a pit fight between to fantasy creatures/things (though bringing a castle in could be difficult... good thing fantasy usually has magic)

also i leave the thing up and am usually on every hour. (exept when i sleep)

depending on success (falure) i might do that for higher sucess but the idea is more of a "cassual" one and not this big fancy art that you get really attached to. (also i would have to come up with something to fill teh blank spot in my world which while not to hard could take some time so i intend to atleast wait and this could fill the gap of time atleast a little.

never heard of this before.
i had to google it.
the first thing i though when i looked at images was "dwarven engineering".
i have allways considered stuff like this to be "dwarven machinery", so it would be accepted unless it was like those ones with guns or such. (the machine gun with abraham lincoln)

the reason i considered it "dwarven" may be due to the fact morrowind was one of the first fantasy setting i accually went in-depth about, (elder scrolls) and it had lots of dwarven machines that looked like that and attacked you.

note: still need one more for a try, i think this is going to be a make it in your own world thing... ...just to attract more people.
NOTICE: update: read above.

NOTICE: clarification: dwarven guns: usually mortors (or cannons), sometimes simple "small cannons", the idea is to use gunpowder to create an explosion to propel a metal ball at your enamy.

also: wolfexile: your signature reminds me of something like this:

NOTICE: if interested please post what saved worlds you have... ...especially that first person. (note: post ones you are willing to use) also i will rotate and change so eventually people with every size of world will get to use it.
