EE needs new features!

Everybody Edits is getting boring. All MrShoe is doing is adding smileys and blocks. We need action/moving bricks! We need something new to EE! Aren't any of you tired of boring old smileys and blocks? I am! WE NEED NEW FEATURES!!!

This. For the love of Cyclone. THIS. I'm honestly sick of all the every-thursday-update idea. Now, if it was once a month on a set date then that would be fine, because then those who are far behind at getting the packs/smileys could easily catch up.

Before someone complains about our fickleness (i.e. switching from "Chris doesn't update" to "Julian updates too much!"), the difference here is that Chris went months without updating whereas Julian rushes out updates to "appease" us and Chris, who I assume wants updates in order to get his moneys' worth. I'd rather have bi-weekly updates that introduced new features, I'm never going to use new blocks or smileys (they've been pretty low-quality in my opinion), but a cool new idea would really get me excited.

Bi-weekly is a good idea. Every other week should be devoted to fixing bugs rather than making more packages.

I've got a solution: decreasing energy cost. The total amount of energy required to buy all the stuff released in a update should not exceed 1500. That's 3 days to buy all the things released in a update, and 4 days to buy new stackable items. We can buy other stuff beside update stuff and MrShoe can release weekly updates. Everybody wins with this.

That's 3 days to buy all the things released in a update, and 4 days to buy new stackable items. We can buy other stuff beside update stuff and MrShoe can release weekly updates. Everybody wins with this.

They want us to buy with real money with gems.   We should be glad we can use energy at all to get things without using real money.

As for updates, I'd like there to be new functional blocks other than a new set of blocks that are similar to ones we already have.   For the rocket update I would have liked to see fire maybe and an astronaught smiley.   Maybe have a "decoration" tile that looks nearly invisible that gives low gravity, allowing us to jump high without littering a level with confusing arrows.

Actually,If you like your actual smiley,don't buy the new one if you actually doesn't have enough energy for what you actually want to buy and don't like that new smiley...and stuff.

I agree.

If you know you're going to be gone awhile before you can spend energy before you hit your max, you can spend what you have on a smley or two, to set you back to 0 or close, and over time you'll slowly get those smilies instead of wasting some Energy on nothing.

Man I really wish I could bump up my Energy from 200.   Every time I get on I am at 197 or higher, heh.

I have 351 energy.
I have 1 week to buy the new updates.
I have 60 Coin Gates.
I have more than enough time to catch up with all the updates.

Question. How do I have 60 coin gates and only 351 energy with all the update packs and smilies? While everyone else can't even catch up with half the updates.

The only acceptable reason I see is that kongregate and armour games were down or something like that and people couldn't catch up with updates but even then it is possible that even these people could have caught up with the updates by now.

Guys you don't even have to play EE. Just spend your energy 3 times in 24 hours or something like that and you'll be able to catch up. I am more than sure that I'll have the block package and the smiley that are coming out today by the end of this Monday.

What about variety, it would be nice to have more action bricks and maybe moving blocks which are also going to be epic.

Well, while I'd like more features rather than just useless blocks and smileys, I don't mind weekly updates. You don't have to have everything as soon as it comes out. So what if you get behind? That just means you'll always have something to spend your energy on.

Since this topic is about new features, I am quite excited to get the new gravity and game changing map... that will be fun.

EDIT: It seems that you can jump 12 blocks high with the new gravity world.

All the people that can't buy all the new stuff every week are just inactive players
I do have all the new updates (except the astronaut and large space world) and I have enough time to buy other things. I do have 100 timed doors and 50 coin doors, all bought in the time that we have an update every week.

We can't buy that much anymore indeed, but I don't care about that. I do like things like the mars pack and the industrial pack.
