Well, me being gullable is something you did not have to bring up.   The only reason I believed a damn thing from thuggish is because I was desperate in info, in which you coldstorm yet again mocked, so thank you for that.

You could have left out calling me an idiot, because it appears you broke a forum rule.   I'll let you decide which.

As for the convo with chris-- he is an idiot, (sorry chris).   I read the whole damn thing.   He doesn't give a crap for our opinion.

About the energy...

I really couldn't care less. I know, it's stupid, and that all the items in the shop we have no idea how we are going to buy, but it's really just a matter of keeping your cool. Besides, the energy thing really nags on me after a while.

Not saying I hate energy, just that this is going to far.

I think Chris is looking at long term results, he wants what's best for the game in the end.
Regarding bots I see two main choices he can make.

Getting rid of bots now, regardless of how far off the update that will replace them will be.
Getting rid of bots at the time of the new feature.

Hopefully the new feature will make worlds created by bots possible, but also remove the possibility of removing crashing.

I think the next thing he should work on is chat problems like swearing, as it affects everyone and has been a big problem for a long time.

For example, nonchats are not supposed to have chat to protect them. Despite this, kick messages show up, and even worse: curse words are not censored in kick messages. This almost completely removes the point of having parental controls on chat. Not only are they able to see others talk, but they can see words that are not even possible to say in the normal chat. And rather than having censors for every single thing even censor dodging, I think it's better if a strong in-game report system is created to report people who abuse the chat or spam.

I read through this topic, and some of these comments are just mean. Chris is getting rid of it, because people were exploiting. Nobody cares about your 280 energy or whatever it is. I had over 1000 energy BEFORE coin collector even existed, and I'm not complaining about losing it. 280 isn't much at all. Why is everyone getting mad over something so little.

As for the witch wizard and fire wizard, I'm not 100% sure they'll stay, but some other people say they will so they probably will. Don't get so angry over small things, it's just a game.

I love the insinuation in this that things like Coin Collector are okay if only a small group of people have access to them, but it suddenly becomes a problem if it becomes popular and a lot of people do it. Bunkum. Even one person having access to an unfair advantage like that should not be tolerated. You're basically whining that Chris won't look the other way while you cheat.

Look. Chris is the game creator. It is his game, and he can do what he wants with it. Yes, some people will lose 500 - 1000 energy. But at the same time, everyone is starting new, and I think that is a fair thing to do. We should all just forget about arguing with each other and see what Chris does.

dont jump to conclusions, and chris wants this to be fun and free (except for beta diamond and big spender) people want people to be able to play without having to pay a lot, the gems is mainly for people who want head starts or something like that, he is not going to have you pay extra gems, trust me

Why doesnt Benjaminsen just change the EE Idea that bots use, and keep it a secret. And probably just give it to the people that need it. Like EX Crew Shift or whatever ben wants to do.

Not possible, the flash file can just be decompiled to get the new values.

And probably just give it to the people that need it.

And who makes the determination about who "needs" it? Doesn't seem fair to me. All players should be treated equally. Plus, if you read that chatlog, Chris plans to make it so you can do some of the cool stuff bots do now without bots.

I don't see this as a problem; I'm just curious as to what he will replace it with.

This a long time coming, anyway. I can't believe how many people used Coin Collector in order to abuse the system. Every one of you knew what you were doing was wrong, yet you did it anyway. I hope he finds a way to reprimand every one of you without using the ban hammer.

I don't see anything wrong with the energy system. But the magic coin thing was always kinda weird and I can see how one would want an alternative that feels less like gambling and provides less opportunity for abuse.

At any rate, so long as the new system works nicely and we don't lose the resources we've already put into shop items (losing 7900/8000 on a great world would suck), I don't think we'll have much to complain about.

I'm thinking of a gambling system. You can put energy into a shop item that costs, 1000 energy, say. Then it's like a jackpot thing where you can win 1 energy, 2 energy, 10 energy, 15 energy, or a full energy bar. Obviously, 10 and 15 would be rarer, and many times you wouldn't win anything. Any feedback?

It seems like it still uses energy, which Chris is apparently getting rid of entirely in favor of a more gameplay focused method of acquiring items.

Yes. That's my point. Nothing's wrong with energy, it's just the coin collectors that ruin it. Get rid of magic, and everything's just perfect.

In a way the energy was removed because of inflation, everyone had a ton of it, and increasing the updates only made people use CC more.

I think he should replace it like this:

First, you can rate levels 1 to 5 stars.
After 100 ratings(from different IPs), the game awards you a certain amount of diamond shards according to the number of stars it has when you win the level.
This way people can't make a bunch of small worlds with no minigames and just a trophy. You also cannot get diamond shards from your own levels.

Diamond shards are 1/1000 of a diamond.
If you get 1000 you can turn them in for a diamond, and 1 diamond shard = 1 gem, etc.
Or you could just use the energy system, and everywhere the word energy is you replace the word with lead. You can't make a lead balloon after all, so no inflation = D
Well, you actually can make a lead balloon, it's been proven by the mythbusters, but who cares :0 this is a game, not real life
