I think Chris have 10000% right. Bots like GBOT or Krock's bot are bad, cauze they're popular, everyone use it, it's crazy!! Energy also is not fair, noobs use CC and takes a lot magic, when someone plays all months to get magic.

Not sure if I agree on the GBOT and Krock Bot, but CC is plain ridiculous.

my bot has not much to do with CC or energy system, it's something other if I connect to shop with my bot or to a world from me.

OMG !! Can't hold it ... I'm really **** of now . The good thing is that there is still the fire wizard and the witch , but still I will play EE till it gets totally butchered .

So, as I told Nou on Skype yesterday :

Having a coincollector and messing around with the magic/energy system will eventually kill it. And I knew it the second I heard about it a year ago.
I'm surprised it took so much time for Chris to realize this. if I were him, I would have changed the energy system a long time ago.
Now, it seems logic to me, and I can't blame him for this. It'd be nice if the new system has another way to reward previous contest winners though, but I don't think it'll happen.

About the whole "massive bot bans", I'm not surprised as well. Of course I don't want to see bots levels like shift or digbot, it'd make me sad for they are usually fun and people like them. I think any other compagny would have banned the bot a long time ago as well, and pan people using bots after one warning, for it's the only way to have a game without bots.   ( This is used in many MMOs to prevent people from getting richer / stronger without really playing. ) So yeah, I hope he wont ban every bot and everyone using them. The only way around - without having people ranting on the forums for weeks - is to give all the players ingame tools to make levels like digbot and shift. Some scripting stuff, the ability to load stuff from another level, or a way to "dig" in special levels.

For now, wait && see... && hope that he wont ban everything.²

I don't think that chris is so stupid. And I think that changing the energy system is a good update. He don't change something when it is a bad update (I think). This is not the first time that people said that there is gonna be a update that really sucks and that they will leave the game. But for so far I didn't see that happen.

Oh, by the way, I heard some news recently on a level I was playing. The person that created Coin Collector disabled the bot, so it can't be used anymore. If this is true, then is it still easily possible to hack and get magic?

i like new things
every game i played, and when there was an update that happened that made everybody angry, i was actually really glad about that, (i am not being a troll there) i do agree that people have had too much fun with the cc, cow has over 9000 energy, that is a complete cc there... but the only thing i dont support are removing bots, if there is a way to remove cc and other magic related bots, then EE would be fine, but i do support it.

sry for me jumping to conclusions but:
(this is a suggestion if he does remove bots for good)
i think what will happen is: (for magics)
there will be a very high VERY HIGH chance of getting a "ticket" or something like that, and you need   a certain amount of tickets to get stuff. plz tell me if this is a good idea or not, i will handle all of the wag of the fingers you give me

Everybody is thinking about how good energy was. Now you have to think about what the NEW   system will be. Maybe it will be something like coins, or gems will be earnible (I forgot how to spell it)

Kirby is right. If you can make that. But we are gonna have to get used to the new system. If he puts in that new system, it would span a whole new world. But then again, normal levels might be gone...
