Hello again.

Note: This is not a "GUESS WHAT GUYS I'M BACK TO PLAY EE!!!!" post.

Some of you may remember me as a "veteran" who was here for quite a while.

I quit a while back (a year ago?) because Chris was making extremely stupid decisions in where he was taking the game.

Honestly, I'm surprised to see that the game is still up and running, since when I left it was in terrible condition.

Lately I've been playing RotMG, you might have seen me there under the name 'OSX'.

Lets cut to the chase. I'm not exactly returning to play (unless I am informed here that there is a reason to still play), but just checking in to see what I've missed and would like to say hello to some old friends of mine.

Some friends I can name off the top of my head:

- Buzzerbee
- BritishTea
- OldSchoolGamer
- Zoidy (OSX > DrZoidy)
- Spiderman
- Koth/Neph
- Echo!

There's definitely more but my memory isn't working very well right now.

Well, let me know what I've missed and if it's worth it to give this game another chance.

nice to see you back on the forum. I have answered your question.

You should definately get back on EE and this forum.

When you quit in decemberish (im guessing) there was no smileys and packs and no real control over ee because there programmer decided not to work for them so things did not work out. So they had to find a new one and their name was MrShoe. If you join back in the game now there will be an update every week, and there is far more control over ee then there was back then.:P

As i said, things did not work out well with there old programmer...

I remember Chris had just hired someone to help him with EE when I left, and he ended up doing absolutely nothing. There were almost no updates going on, and they got progressively worse.

Sbeam? Yeah he did pretty much nothing and eventually vanished. The updates are getting worse.
EDIT:

MrShoe, the new admin is putting crap into this game every week, and giving new users or users that were away no mercy to catch up with all this spam. Magic was disabled due to coin collector, bots took over everybody edits, less and less original content is showing up in worlds, a lot of good people quit in a big chain reaction, but that's over now, bugs are everywhere, there's a buggy new friend system that sucks honestly,

Yes, it was Sbeam, thank you for reminding me.

The place you just described everybody edits as makes it seem worse than how it was when I left. I would hope that at least the old community and good players were still sticking around, then I could hop on just to be with them again, but if they all left then that doesn't help either.

Seems like everything's been going downhill. I won't be surprised if it dies any day now.

Well I do agree that some updates are a bit boring and EE has changed considerably. But it is still a really good game and u should keep playing it because it is more funner than it used to be.

@Atilla Glad to see people like you still here also. If I recall correctly, I left right as the drum pack was released. What other old users are you talking about? Like, is EX crew still around? I remember when EX Shift and Cyph1e's Snake were the big hits. As for all the updates I missed, are there any that are really good or, on the contrary, terrible?

I don't know but should get all the good updates you want before they go into classic.

Ex crew shift is pretty much dead, Snake boss is dead because a bunch of noobs made their own snake bosses and bots.

Many good bot levels came and died, ExEv by bass5090, Yo!Scroll was too buggy and died, now there's a pretty crappy replacement "ex crew shift" that is called FLD Digbot ICANDIGIT or something which is pretty much a digging bot where you dig for minerals and that's pretty much it. The worst part is you can pay real money for premium content in the digbot.

you should really keep playing i entered 10 - 20 days before carnival
also, MrShoe is placing good things ( except that bunch of gray colors )
low gravity worlds, water , ladders, and many many many packs of blocks also
win bricks, coin gates and timed doors!
