Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

MrShoe, I am disapointed.

As many if you know, we got about 3 "halloween" packs.. And none were even releashed on the halloween's day update.
Lots of people were saying that MrShoe were making bad packs recently. I actually tough "Meh.. They aren't THAT bad.." Until the halloweens one. They were prettry "meh"...
I prefered the old way... Where we get them all at once, for a limited time (which was... a month or so?) With a pack that was somewhat more worked on, that we could see "a bit more halloween in them"... not some packs with an eye and two backgrounds.
People that said the packs were being releashed at a way too fast basis would be pleased since they would get the halloween stuffs in rather not much time and they could get these worlds and other stuffs they couldn't.

I hope that the next "events" like Xmas, halloween, etc. Will be like "the old way" and not the "new one"..
Gonna say you, I'd be ready to sacrifice some of the packs we got for better "event" one.

I forgot the ther stuffs I wanted to say...But I think the most important is here.

Also, I wanted to know: What do you prefer? The "old" or the "new" way?

You may also notice that I was too lazy to actually post that when the forum got back..
But meh.

I would like a mix between the "old" and "new" way. A good update every 3 weeks.

Re: MrShoe, I am disapointed.

The old way was an update every few months that usually broke the game or something with some pretty cool thing to go with it.
The new way is a large amount of crappy updates every week with a few pretty sweet ones mixed in.

I like the new way.

I like an update every month, that was actually tested for bugs, with something new with it, not just random bad block packages.

PIK and deetz's comments I agree with completely, and I think MrShoe should take more response from us players instead of giving us packages like the Rocket package that no one likes.

I like how there are updates every week. True, some aren't great, but there are good ones in there. Plus, even if I don't like one update, someone else probably does. With an update every week, there is far more variety than one or two a month.

I'd prefer something other than blocks like a GUI in a level.

I...actually ment to ask for the "events" period. But yeah, gotta say that an update every 2-3 weeks instead would probably be something better, since it'd give more time for more work.

A majority of responses in my EE Survey did say a lot about the updates being boring. Maybe once it's submitted, MrShoe would take note... if he cares.

Well, gotta say that MrShoe's a nice mod. He actually made some stuffs that peeps requested...Like the coin gates.
We also asked for more updates...But not that much..
So yeah. I think he's trying to "revive" the game...But it look like it's already hard to keep it like that.
I'm prettry sure he cares...at least a bit.

You know, Masternat has a good point with the updates. It is ridiculous, it`s unprofessional, and it`s a waste of people`s energy from spending on on packs; which half of them suck anyways. I don`t want less updates, but i don`t want worse packs, either. Julian (MrShoe) needs to only step up his game or step out, because this is bringing EE down badly.

Why does everyone hate on MrShoe? I've emailed him a couple times, and he is really busy! He told me how many spelling errors he had to fix and he says he doesn't have that much time because of the weekly updates.

That's his fault. If he simply checked the Uservoice or Feedback section   for maybe 12 seconds he would know what to add. He would cut down on a lot of time spent working if he simply appealed to his audience instead of taking wild stabs in the dark that ultimately waste everyone's time and energy, especially his.

MrShoe (I keep misspelling MrShoe as "MrShow"...)   should be seen as a sped-up version of Chris. Instead of a semisweet update every 3 months, we get one every week. That's all you need.

Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

Re: MrShoe, I am disapointed.

I preferred the old ways ? allowed more creativity because there weren't so many specific blocks. It was nice to actually have to think up a creative way to be resourceful with the blocks we already had to make up a pretty space station, instead of just receiving updates that actually come out with those waaaay over-specified blocks. :3. Although, I must say it was a little too plain in 2010. I'm glad I joined EE in the golden age -- when it wasn't TOO bare (2010) but when it started flourishing (early 2011). Through the rest of 2011, it was amazingly epical, yes!-- back in my day! //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/tongue! Contests every four to six months apart, memorable updates (bc they were rare) & stuff that wasn't so irrelevant to EE. Potions... -_- this isn't world of warcraft or whatever... >:| EE's losing it's uniqueness with these random and crappy updates ! ! ! D; Come back RPG!! 3': We forgive you after Halloween Contest 2011 -.- omg! D;

Besides, updating every 2 weeks not only allows him to make better update, but to give chance for players to spend their energy.

It's funny how everyone says 2011 was the best updates time, but back then everyone was complaining about no updates.

Maybe that's just what EE needs. Instead of updates that gives you new stuff, why not updates that fixes bugs and stuff?

When you wanted something for a long time, you prize it more when you get it than when you actually get it if you didn't ask for it..
Yeah.
Or something like that.
Plus, the updates were somewhat more special, more unique... More... stuffs. ^^'
I mean, having nice and cools Backgrounds (like the 2010 Xmas trees one) were something amazing. First, because they were really nice and well designed, second, because they were, like I and other forumers said, more rare.

What's sad is, MrShoe want to somewhat satisfy us with the updates (like by putting some of the stuffs that was suggested...like the level system..) but he doesn't want to directly put the exact idea from people's mind. See how the level system never got any design or complete explaination and he got in-game, but the TV idea and echo's map exploration didn't?
Yeah.. I think he somewhat want to do his job of designing and also coding or implementing the functions of the updates, instead of directly taking them from the players*.
* At this point, if MrShoe would get to put only users-idea, people could complain about MrShoe being some lazy guy that just put players stuffs in the game and do nothing exept coding that.. Or stuff.

You may have remarked that I quoted myself, but the post that I quoted from myself doesn't appear on the page. That's because I posted this right after the other one, and I didn't realise I was double-posting. So I just deleted the old post since it was also here.

Re: MrShoe, I am disapointed.

When 2012 came and I was playing still just minding my own business making levels and stuff, I came across MrShoe and I was like "Yaay MrShoe will be really cool and awesome and will make everything great!"
how wrong was I when he release Woots //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/neutral
(For some reason Woots makes me laugh, probably the silly name)

For god sakes, dont rant about sh*t you cant do any better about. You have a problem with how this game is updated and what its update feature, go make your own damn game and see how far you get. Have a nice day now.

Hey now, you can bash something you can't do a better job at.   Example.. politics.   people complain about the president but can they do a better job? Probably not.

With the many packs, you could just ignore if you didn't like the, however this woot system.. you can't really ignore.   It's forced.   I don't like how levels can be wootbombed now.   Look at those levels with Woot in the name, asking for people to give woots.   I was in a level and it was getting a woot like every 20 seconds.   It was an okay-ish level.   It had 300+ woots.   My poor little level has 3 now.. woot..

Re: MrShoe, I am disapointed.

I'm not going to say much, but talking to MrShoe there are some huge updates coming along, these are taking up his time.

You won't be moaning for much longer Yn8I7.png.
I have also mentioned to MrShoe to change the lobby, so online players in worlds are ranked [like good ol' times] but with a switch to show woots [if anyone wants it], so woots become an add-on rather than the key popularity.

M'well, if you say that he said that it'll be some start of something much better... Well I can't wait to see what it'll be.
Also, dylan, i'd like you to remember that a part of the comunity were complaining about the updates. I'm not the only one..
I'd like to see you post what you just did here on every other topics about MrShoe's "Bad updates", "Horrible stuff being added", "MrShoe should get fired for puting these noob packs" ...

Re: MrShoe, I am disapointed.

Oh so, when updates take longer to come, you prize them more? Awesome, let's hope updates take 1 year! /sarcasm

By the way, I don't remember the updates in 2011 being "omg so cool". There were portals added yeah, but you can say now we have coin gates, timed doors, potions (some may disagree) and stuff. Also, Chris made some physics updates which messed up EE as much (OR even more) as this one.

I'm not some MrShoe fanboy of course (I didn't like this update much), but I find it strange how you guys get new content every week and still crybaby about it like you wanted 1 every year.
