Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Dear admins, mods, and anyone else who reads this!
In the last update - with the woots system (that was a great idea and I like it) - MrShoe released a "security" (or maybe antilag or Anti-BandwidthUse?) feature too, that limits the max block uploading speed to about 20 or 30 blocks per second per user. There is a queue too, that's kinda handy without using bots (and stuff like that); I don't have a problem with that, it works just fine ingame.
We wanted to re-release a bot-assisted level called Yo!Scroll sometime, but now it's not really possible, or it would need many uploaders. Queue makes things a bit worse too in this case, as they can make the uploaders confused with this very little server-sided block uploading limit.
My idea - in case you want to save bandwidth - is not to send useless packets to several (or all - like the "timedoor" packet if there's no timed door in the world at all) players.
And my other idea (for antilag, but it may not worth the effort) is to - somehow - measure the receivers' internet speeds user by user each minutes (or 5 minutes or idk), and queue the packets for sending to different users; don't limit everyone, just the users with slow download speed.
The third idea is not really an idea - because it was possible in the good ol' times - is to let people combine packets; that would make the servers use less resources, and it would be more efficient in many cases.
Thanks for reading, and please tell me your opinion or ideas - maybe they can be forwarded to the administrators somehow (MrShoe cares about the community if I remembered it well ).

I'd say that the current system is fine, however, it would be nice if Mr Shoe added a feature where you could upload a specified rectangle to the world in a single packet. Basically like the init packet, but sending it to the server and being able to specify an x,y, width and height of it. There would be one catch: You can only do it to worlds that you own, or to people you've granted access to. This will still keep troll potential down, while its utility will remain high.

I love how you use words that everyone understand ^^
I approve this.
I have never thought of programming for reputation and honor. What I have in my heart must come out. That is the reason why I code.

me too, cant relase my bot assisted level - because of this.
see you in the worlds,

I think the timedoor packet just makes sure that if you do add timedoors in the world, they go at the same time. If you didn't have this packet the timer might start when you add the block so you could have doors going at different times.

I see you didn't get the purpose.
Second, you're totally wrong. It's possible to send the timedoor packets only if necessary; the server itself can still do those "messages", but it doesn't have to broadcast them if there are no timedoors at all in the world.
I Agree.
Player Since 2011. I used to make bots and stuff.

by the way, something like SHIFT wont / cant exists because of this anymore.

Well, Shift would work, just slower ;p
Ah, those were good times when people could upload huge troll faces to a level in half a second.
Anyway, I support this.

False alert ;p
Only gold coins are "buggy", the blue ones (and probably everything else) isn't.
this is probably why my bot isn't going as fast as it should be *sigh*
i as well agree to this.
also this could be why auto builder hasn't been working recently
Its wrong, jojatekok. It weren't be only gold coins ...
False false alarm
"this is probably why my bot isn't going as fast as it should be *sigh*"
that's too on mine...
just a though, i could be wrong.

Hmm maybe a false false alert or maybe a false false false alert...
But thanks, I'll remove my edit. ;D
Hm.. I'm not sure. Buying potions isn't the best way from making this. Maybe higher than some level?
I don't know, potions are limited and bot need to time in time buy more and there's a limit. I think they just need to give us the power, no potions plz.

Nice idea! And lines and stuff..
And it's just easily addable too (just send the message type to - for example - "drawpencil", and item(0) could be "b" or "bs" or etc. too.
And I like how you tought about anti-trolling too!
I support! I love everything about Yo!Scroll, and I was wondering why my bots were missing blocks.
Supported, I loved Yo! Scroll so much.

I can't figure out how the delay with gold coins affects Yo!Scroll...
In the end, I don't blame MrShoe for giving them a delay. It severely slows down on the speed at which you could theoretically get coins through coin collecting. It doesn't impact users unless they are drawing lots at once, and who actually likes worlds with lines of coins?
It does not appear to affect anything else, so I don't actually agree with removing the delay on them. Luckily they are added to a queue and not just discarded.
