Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Ok, reading all of this is making my head spin.
Can SOMEONE explain... uh... everything to me? My brain hurts. Tell me why I should or shouldn't like Persona.
If that is my drop box, I have no access to it according to my dropbox folder.
None of that crap is even in my dropbox. You sure you aren't linking to someone elses dropbox from the previous movement?
(There was other people (far more than this movement) linking sites if I remember correctly.)
Anyways-- to freaking end this thread:
To reply one last time to the post different made in the official topic:
I'm not stealing the bots. I remove them if the owner wants me too. The only case I wasn't properly notified if I had permission to share the link, or promote it was Processers bot.
Abrar11 may be controversial, however I know for a fact he gave me permission, you'll just need to take my word.
How about you stop creating threads about the BF movement on the forum. I wanted the official one locked for a reason. This community is just full of kids who want to hate on people because they get the chance too. Just a big bunch of bullies.
Anyways. I can't stop, or predict more topics; however if you are going to hate on me, do it on the form; or in your wittle coldstorms.

Persona: Who does control that Dropbox? You are the one who linked to it; don't expect us to believe the URL just came to you in a dream and you put it on your website.
Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

Remember, the customer is always right. Even if he did give you permission, he has since proclaimed that you don't have it anymore. The right thing to do would be to take it down as soon as you got any inkling that he was displeased with its presence on your site.
So much drama.
I want to make this as clear as possible, although it's still foggy with some people: the internet is not secure. It never has been. If you share something once, don't be surprised when you wake up to find it's been shared to 256 other people. That's just how the internet works.
While Persona may be coming off as a pioneer of copyright infringement, the owners of the bots put themselves in a position where they were completely susceptible to it.
In summary: do not cry over spilled milk when the owner put the milk over the edge of the table with thousands of people in the room.
This. I don't know how many of you were around when it happened, but this is exactly what happened with my Animator. I developed it for my personal use and for a friend's use. A single friend who I'd known for many years. However, he decided to post it up on his site and spam it everywhere, even though we agreed to keep it totally private. You can't trust anyone but yourself. Always assume that everyone who receives your bot will give it to two other people. Once it leaves your machine, it will become an unstoppably promiscuous little robot.

One more image.

In particular-- something I have been considering; however thinking of alternative ways. As for the person who sent it- can remove bots if he pleases once he is notified. I won't remove his site, since I have already set restrictions on what I expect. That isn't stealing, but just promoting. Take it up with the site host if he decides to come out of the water.
So much drama.

I'm not even taking the material, and redistributing it. I'm just promoting it. If the owner didn't want it to be promoted, then he can delete his topic, or his site. There isn't anything wrong with linking to a site with out permission.
Hell, If I said
"Linking to that dropbox isn't legal", but who would stop from linking to the dropbox?
What harm is it doing? It's already publicly out there.
As for the drop box, I am -- again, only promoting it. I'm not redistributing it-- nor am I even hosting the download.
If you want optimal results, report the dropbox. I have no issue with that.
LAST EDIT: And really, this is drama because people bring it to be. Making threads like this is just shameful. Only proves me right about most of the community here. As for weebly, I have contacted them to keep in touch while this report session continues. Not gonna lie.. Different's post (as a mod) should have been more thought out as it seems like you are just trying to find ways to hate on me, I am not aware you can just go in and delete other people's files in drop boxes, yet again if those files are so old, why are you saying I reuploaded them back (implying I even own the dropbox).. That's all i'll say on the matter.
PS EDIT: This topic is full of trolling, it kinda is funny. I didn't even get a chance to get the level up in EE due to time restrictions. The only reason I am posting so late is because I had other stuff to tend to (school, errands, xmas tree, ect..) to reply to lrussell.

I guess this thread can be closed now. I have atleast got the answers I need. If not the proxy owner is coming back, and want the thread. I don't care about the dropbox anyway.

Umm... what does this have to do with me? I'm just agreeing with the OP here.
Also, with that "Are you the owner of this bot? Yes!", that's not true. Because, there are many bots, and because he's not the owner of any of those bots, you shouldn't have added that link. You broke your own rules.

He or she must have refered to owning the dropbox.
And Persona, me being 100% sure you're going to reply to this thread with some "excuse" or lie to try to cover your tracks, good luck and have a nice day.
Whoever posted this must have made him think:
"trololol Iem not gunna respond cause Iem being expacted."lol

It's plenty easy to remove something from your drop box for a screenshot, then add it back later, or to have another account for all your bot crap. If it was from the last movement, it would've been abandoned and there wouldn't be persistent nubs re uploading everything.

And just how do you know?
You implying that anyone would even be a noob for sharing something.
Again, it seems like you are just trying to find means to hate on this movement.
Infact, there is a pretty damn good chance (100% since it did happen) that someone who owned it last time would submit it again.
The only other scenario I could think of is if -- you or someone else on this forum submitted it just to cause me some trouble.
Either way. This needs to be locked. I've already given all my explainations. This topic is nothing more than someone trying to bash at me.

Just ban Persona so we get rid of this bot-sharing crap. Totally un-needed.

Like how you want me to be banned when I am not breaking any of the forum rules by doing this.
And banning me won't stop this movement..
We don't care about the movement. (Or at least I don't.)
I just care that you're being like this.

Just take down the DropBox link and this will be all over, it's gotten really out of hand and annoying. If Abrar11 and Gustav9797 don't want their bots shared, you need to take down the link, or copy over the bots to another DropBox without theirs.
Yours or not, just remove the link.

You cannot ban someone for not being liked in general.
Persona, you're the only one who has participated in this movement with a website or drop box or anything like that. The link provided is the first oneyou made, and I know of 2 others, and they all contained the same bots.

Um, no. You are wrong. I had many sites submitted to me in the first movement. I always associated my sharing of bots with a mediafire.
Hosting them on my dropbox would be my last resort, but I never did.. After I was hacked, I just quit the whole movement.

I've never seen a mediafire link from you, but I have seen several dropbox links associated with BF2012.

Like 80% of the bots I was hosting the downloads too were Mediafire.
Why the hell would there be 200+ downloads on them, and the date..
I'd be more than happy to lock this, but I think we are still confused on one thing:
I'm not even taking the material, and redistributing it. I'm just promoting it. If the owner didn't want it to be promoted, then he can delete his topic, or his site. There isn't anything wrong with linking to a site with out permission.

This isn't the point at all. Whether or not it is doing harm is completely irrelevant. If the owner wants it on every single site except for yours, I feel you have the obligation to take it down. It's even stated on your submission page:
Once you submit it, you will still have permissions to take it down
The owners of the bots have asked you to not promote the links, and you are telling them "no" because the reason you assume they have isn't good enough for you. Am I correct?
Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

Not correct at all.

Takoman wasn't talking about rules, quit trying to change the subject.
It clearly states that if you sumbit a bot you have permission to take it down.
