bots destroying ee

all the ..... bots, programs it must stop now
ee isn't nice anymore
after artist did come snakes and other stuff and now a coin collector
its all shared and i don't like it

someone make a banner to ban all botters!
ee must back to normal

It does suck, I don't think there's a way for chris to ban them, but mabey he could find a way to stop them from working properly.

I have A bot but It doesn't do the coin collector or snake. Mine just does the load level save and reset and admin.

Then I would get banned, My bot doesn't do much just the admin and unadmin. Plus I stopped useing bot.

why we haven't more admins and a new rule from march are bot illegal
and then mods can ban everyone wo uses a bot the exclusief ex crew shift or ex crew snake

If there is a rule, you can't make exceptions for bots that are more pro then other. So it's or all bots or nothing

if bot are everwhere, ee is nothing more then a click, everything is getting automatic then.
bored bored bored ee then you cant do nothing then only look and see how bot is working.

Bots are the future of every game with players that have any programming knowledge. The only problem with bots are that they cause major lag and slowdown when many of them are on. That is why its important to add a killswitch of some sort.

I use my bot for my world, Mine doesn't do much but load,save,reset,clear,admin,unadmin

I like bots, it makes it very easy to ban crashers because if you kick them they will come back and crash your world and it's to late to kick them again. Snake bots are also fun it makes it easier for bossers.

i agree with you SYTHE5665, we cant ban users who use bots, thats kinda illegal. But we can ask chris to BAN BOTS like EEArtist...

Well, certain bots aren't bad.   In fact, the only bad bots are the autobuilders and stuff, because they stifle creativity.   And even then, sometimes they're only used to get a good base for something.   So, basically, bots are only bad in the wrong hands.

I hate bots.(principally ee artist) They are annoying,and i will never want a bot. And also they can be used for trolling:a guy used it in my world another day,and another guy used it in a random world,and he probably was without code.

I like my bot even though It hardly does any thing.
I already said what It does up In the post.
And I only use my bot when I need It at time's.

Chris could make it so that EE can autoban people who use third-paty tools like EEArtist, just by the sending block speed, if too fast, ban ensues. Simple.

I personally see no issue with bots as long as people aren't spamming or causing chaos. But bots like GBot and EE Artist and stuff have become just that, chaos. Bot on the other hand, bots like EX Crew Shift are bots that bring meaning, and even more fun to the game, which I sincerely support. So not all bots are bad, but when just anyone can get it, it is no longer special and is just, as I said before, pure chaos!

So all in all, I'm for bots, but not the public ones. If you make a bot, remember, the smartest thing to do is keep it to yourself, and ignore the noobs bugging you. :rolleyes:

What's bad about bots?

The one I can think of is the misuse of ee artist.

other than that, it seems ok to use your own bot.
