I don't care what you think of me.
I think my post was 100% fair and honest.   I don't think you took the time to consider every post.   Also, this has to deal with Everybody Edits and thus should be allowed to be in General Section.   As I said in my previous post, I think this creates a great and final 'discussion'.   We could present this to Mr Sh0e and give him a suggestion.

So in other words, instead of trying to destroy this non-flaming discussion (FOR THE MOST PART).   How about you embrase it.

Oh, and yes.   I am a human being.

Re: About the max energy addition

When the original magic was removed, I had 227 energy(which is pretty weak compared to the time I've been here), and my brother had something very close to 300, 280 or something(I started about 6 months after he did). He earned every single one of those extra energy. Now, I'm rank 9 from playing for about 10 minutes a day, and I have 300. I think that's pretty unfair, since I put in much less effort but still got more than he did.

You are partly correct that you really did less effort with the new system. But, you can only get to the sealing max energy (which is idk, probably 290 or something?), but to the old system, yes, it is quite hard, but you can reach any max energy you want (probably), so in my opinion, it is still fair.

I'm class 9 and I have 300, if that helps anything.

Class 9 = 300

Re: About the max energy addition

May as well get this argument over with.

Those old-timers had an abuse-able system. MrShoe did something about it in the Plastic Update. It was unfair for the newcomers that they couldn't get a higher max energy. During the Woot Update, he added it back, while he got much better protection. While the people who came around early June didn't have magic, it was unfair around them, so they got an easy magic system.

In the previous era, (times before MrShoe, starting around late 2011) I played EE a lot. I was unlucky with getting a max energy. Being hacked forced me to make a new account. It was around when July started, and I found ONE magic coin, with ONE energy in it. A few days later, it was removed. That was my only bonus after being hacked.

Finally, after a lot of Friday 13-ness, I got an easy magic coin system, which allowed me in about 2 weeks to get over 230 max energy, while before it took me months to get me that much. I loved the new energy system.

Re: About the max energy addition

Okay, I totally wasn't on planning on going to bed any time soon anyway. Someone is wrong on the internet. Oh **** no.

I've been on EE for two years. I've played EE almost every single day, with the exceptions being the following: Being grounded, power outages, and staying the night somewhere.

When magic coins first came out, I rushed to compile a bit of a guide. As you can see, there's an 'except Zoey' on there. That's because it seriously took me forever to get any magic coins. I've worked hard, you know, playing EE to the point where I wrote an essay over it, and I haven't even touched coin collector.

I had 299 energy before it was removed completely. This was all earned over several months. The only magic smiley I have is the grinch. So it's seriously 'greedy' for me to want what people who haven't played EE as long as me have?

I got one energy from becoming level 9, and you know what? That made me really, really happy, because FINALLY I had an even energy number.

Also, did you know that notable members of the community, mainly those in Ex Crew, have higher energy for reasons OTHER than magic coins? Such as helping out with the now defunct wiki that hasn't been edited in one and a half years, and winning early contests?

IT'S NOT FAIR.
I SHOULD BE COMPENSATED, AFTER ALL, I'VE BEEN PLAYING EE FOR OVER TWO YEARS.

Seriously? I can understand wanting a lot of energy, but saying it's unfair for us to have earned our extra energy, even though it was a lot harder to get a magic coin than it is to get to level nine? The update has been out for about two weeks. It took me probably several months to get my first magic coin -- and even then, knowing my luck, it wasn't very significant.

This is seriously about as stupid as me saying it's unfair that I have to go sixteen hours without spending my energy, which has been true pretty much since it's been implemented. My energy is always full. I could get new updates a lot faster if I could spend my energy at decent times. But hey, you know what, I'm not complaining, because I've learned to deal with it, just like how I'm dealing with the fact that I now have to access ee on the facebook page for the rest of its existence just because I happened to join EE at the wrong time.

You know.

That being in July of 2010. I wonder if it's unfair that people have diamonds and big spenders when I have all this worthless junk. It's not unfair that people have that kind of money to spend on pixels while I have to spend it on material items. It's not unfair that people are richer than me. They sort... of earned it...? one way or another. Yes. And Energy is like that. Wow, that botched up wealth-flaunt sentence actually turned into something.

So yes, there's perks and downsides to when you joined EE and it'll never be fair no matter what we try to do. If you join today, you'll probably never catch up on the updates. Does that mean you should automatically get every update that occurred before you joined? No, because that's unfair to the people who had to spend energy for several days to get it.

You weren't on EE at the right time. That's not our fault, so why should you blame us for your lack of energy?
You know what's unfair? The fact that people abused coin collector (AND I DIDN'T GET IT DESPITE HAVING LESS ENERGY THAN ALL OF THEM, THANKS GUYS.) made magic ruined for everyone. That's really the only thing that's 'unfair' about the huge amounts of energy you can get from leveling.

You could argue that it's unfair that I got beta for $1.08 [yes I still remember the exact amount 2 years later], but you know what? It's not. Because I was playing EE at the right time. Why the hell are we even writing lengthy posts about this?

Wait.
Wait a second. So getting to level nine (which is easily obtained in 2 weeks as evidenced by me) gives you a max
of 300
energy? (this is when the entire point of the argument dawns on me)
You know? The energy that has taken me well over a year to get to?
Well, damn, and this is unfair for those who can get energy so much quicker? That's quite laughable. I gained one energy for playing for 2 weeks, what an injustice! It would have taken me longer to get a magic coin!
Okay. There's nothing unfair about this.
IF anything, it's unfair that you get a years worth of energy in 2 weeks.

edit: So yes, congratulations, you win big energy for joining later than I did. One could argue that the Chris or MrShoe care more about the newbies than loyal people.

Re: About the max energy addition

I've been playing EE for quite awhile (Like feb 2010 and joined forums in April) and I scraped up 276 energy and got the Grinch and the normal wizard (which I flipped out when I got because it was only a week before update) now with woots getting magic is going to be easier but getting the coins feels like a chore counting that I have to play some unoriginal minis games to get them. I haven't even been getting them everyday so I'm just rank 6. Everybody edits has gone quite a long way. Now with ranks and potions I wonder what Mr. Shoe will pull out of hat next?   And for those who don't know the highest rank is 15 (Mr. Shoe was rank 15 before update for non-betas).
EDIT: But now I see him at rank 12? Odd.

Loyal people?   That's funny..   It isn't fair for someone to find out about this game and play it every day, becoming a "loyal" member, to not get the extra max energy that you got, for also being a "loyal" member.   Back then you were rewarded for being loyal, and now, you also are rewarded for being "loyal," except now it's easier to get magic coins, but there's a cap.

The time you played should not determine what you are limited of having.   You played before many people and kept that hgher energy amount longer than some people like me who have had 200, and stuck at 200, until the new magic update.   I used to play EE almost every day many years ago back when we had no updates.   I had played for months.   The game became a bit stale so I stopped playing, because it was all the same.   I come bck two years later, and am a "loyal" player again, and am stuck at 200, while people who played after me were able to buy things, and even get extra energy, but when I return, I'm stuck at 200.   It should not be my fault for leaving.   games get old after awhile and we move onto new ones.   I could argue that I've been a more "loyal" player than you.   I have played this game a lot.   I am now class 12 with 400 energy.   Old magic was introduced a bit after I took my long absense.   To think it's my fault for wanting to play other games is laughable.

This max energy argument is the main reason why I left the forums for a long time.   It's like, there's no longer a difference between immaturity between here and Kong anymore.   There are just too many people here who complain about stupid things in the game.   I really hate how odler players try to put themselves over the newbies, calling themselves "loyal," and other ridiculous titles.   Nah.   You're just a player.   An ordinary player.   Not   special member, not a loyal member, not a royal member, just a player like the rest of us.   I believe I've started playing the game before you and I'm not demanding to have anything over you.   I shouldn't have more than you for playing before.   And you shouldn't have more for starting before the newbies.   You're just a player like any other newbie.   I wish people would understand this.

The fact is, is that this game would not be where its at, were it not for long time players like Zoey.   You honestly, do not realize how many physics changes, and just overall changes to the game, that hap destroyed countless maps.   Just look at MG Alcatraz, all the art is gone, because Chris decided to remove the minimap color for decorations.   We've been willing to put up with alot, and have been here longer, but should that just be ignored?   It's like stabbing someone in the back, that you've known your entire life, for somebody you just met 2 minutes ago.   You cannot expect, after going through everything that this community has gone through, and not expect us to get upset for the administrators, not even just a little bit, but outright favoring new players, over the people who helped make this game what it is today.

EDIT: Remember when a ton of people got upset over the change in physics of the boost blocks?   That's a small change compaired to everything that went on during the year of 2011 in ee.

You mean long time players who complain about the updates, like today?   I don't think your analogy works.   No one here is being stabbed in the back.   Playing a game longer shouldn't entitle you to extra bonuses.   You just heard about the game before someone else.   That's all.   And played for fun.   It's not as if you were hired to test the game out.   Zoey's a normal player.   I played before her, I believe, and am also a normal player.   You are too.   This is a flash game that we play for fun, why is it that people think they should be placed over others for hearing about it before someone else?

We all play for fun.   Being a "long term" player just means you've been having fun on EE longer than others.   That does not make you a better member who deserves bonuses.   We all play for the same reason: fun.

@Zoey: So uh... It is actually a bit unluck for not getting magic stuff as quick as others. So do i, which only get a wizard few weeks ago. Its mainly because of the abuse of old magic coin system, people use bots and troll this game, not actually for newbies.
SO... about the big spender things, this game makes money from them, same reason why BC is made actually. They increase beta price from 10 to 0.01, 0.01 to 100 gems (10), 100 gems to 240 gems(Approximately 25) a year, just to make money. We don't need to care about these things, Just let most of us rage quit and, like how BM(Discontinued funny.io game), Only new and rich ****ers play it.

You weren't on EE at the right time. That's not our fault, so why should you blame us for your lack of energy?

Exactly my words.
So. This game is ruined by MrShoe already... We don't need to expect for benefit. I am welcome for you to leave this game together, maybe just copy(A bit) of this game and make a much better game.

You get more energy with higher ranks. I'm pretty sure if you have a higher max energy from beforehand than what the rank gives you, you take your energy from before. IIRC rank 12 gives you 400, and if so you'll never get more energy because you're awesome and have more than the new system ever gives.

Actually, I don't understand how can they be upset.   The argument of people playing back then, for longer, should be given special bonuses for so, which with the new magic system, some still have (such as having over 400 max energy), but hearing about a game before someone else is a very silly reason for you to have more benefits than someone newer.   It's a flash game, and we're all just players playing for fun.   It's just people who complain about these stupid things make the game less fun than the past few updates have made it less fun.
