About the max energy addition

The blog said that a higher magic class has higher max. energy. However, some of us with higher energy due to the old magic haven't been getting this.
Well, I had 200 max energy + 26 from old magic. I just hit class five, and now it is 230 max energy.
Just confirming for those of you with really high max energy to begin with, that you can get more, so long as the magic class grants an amount higher than the amount you currently have.

IMHO, the amount you got before this should be added to whatever the class gives you.

I doubt any class gives a max energy of 1500. Which bugs   me because I'd like more energy as well.

I don't know why it bothers people that they might not get more energy.   You have more than the rest of us already.

It makes the near-100 energy coins I obtained over the course of a year completely useless.

It simply isn't fair.

How does it make those coins useless? You still get more max energy from them, probably more than if you reached level 12.

I am going to assume you don't play just to get more max energy but for fun.

I played EE years ago, took a long break, and came back, totally missing the time of old magic.   I had a max of 200 still.   You kept on playing and got more energy than you'll ever need.   Don't tell me that your boost that not everyone, like me, got to have, is unfair.   That just sounds spoiled to me.

It won't. To increase your energy it has to be less than 255. 255 is maximum you can get.

It sounds equally greedy for you guys to want all the extra energy to yourselves. We've been playing actively for at least a couple years, and you're telling me that doesn't warrant a bonus?

Honestly. Why wouldn't we be entitled to an energy boost? I don't see anything wrong with giving people who played before July 6, (when it was removed)   to get the same amount of energy increase, or any increase AT ALL.

Re: About the max energy addition

I think the energy thing is just so people who started playing after magic was removed can get more than 200 energy. Getting higher magic class doesn't give you +XX energy, it sets your max energy to XXX IF you have less max energy than XXX.

Honestly, I think it's pretty silly that people with 1,000+ energy are complaining that they can't get more. Surely with that much energy, you're able to log in often enough that your energy never maxes out anyway?

False. I had 285 originally and when I hit Class 9, I got 300 max. (Which, FYI, was my main goal while "the actual magic" was out.)

Under the circumstantial event that the max energy is removed, and my maximum energy isn't 666 ; i'll be a sad teddy.   I hope that they keep the previous energy obtained from magic coins intact.

I do however think that a reward for a higher magic class even if you have 500+ energy already from magic coins previously should apply, to keep thing simple for everyone.

Equally greedy of me? Let's see.

Magic was added way back then where people could abuse the system and gain easy max energy.   It was changed to be harder to get, making abuse harder.   Then it was removed completely.

People who have been playing during this time have way over the normal 200 max energy.

For awhile now, people like me have had 200 max energy for a long time.   I've been fine with 200 energy and have rarely ever hit my max.   Having more max energy does not make your energy generation any faster; it just allows you to be able to check less often without you hitting your max.

I would have liked to have more max energy, maybe 300, because with 200 I have to check about every 8 hours.   There was no more magic, though, so it was impossible for me to ever leave the 200 mark while people like you have 300, 400, 500, some even over a thousand energy.

New magic is added, allowing everyone to get more max energy, even those who had gotten some magic before who reached a small max of 220 or so.   Now everyone can gain more max energy, without a chance of abuse so people can't reach crazy amounts of energy.

People with high amounts of energy complain that others are given a chance to get more energy.   Everything is the same for them now, it's just others can now gain more than 200 max energy.

Those with a lot of energy from before complain, saying it's unfair.   They've already been unfairly ahead of most people for months.   They were "awarded" by playing.   Guess what?   I can play too.   I just didn't at the time. I had no idea magic existed.   Not everyone plays the same game every day of their lives; you play a game for awhile and then move onto another one, with a chance of returning back after awhile, which is what I did.

It is absurd of you to call me equally as greedy as those who have more than enough are the ones complaining that they want MORE, MORE, MORE!   I would still be okay if I was at 200 still, but now I have 275, which allowed me to not check as often.   This new system allows those who did not get lucky with magic before to get more energy, but those who have had way more than they ever need to still keep their high amount that some of us will never reach.   And you guys complain.   Wanting more, and more, and more.   And more.

And this makes me the greedy one somehow.

Of COURSE we complain. Why should you get 275? That's 19 less then me. All you did was level, just like me. However I got only 19 more. And I played for a year. Once again, why should we be PUNISHED because we got here first?!

It seems like you're implying that everybody abused the system, but, in reality, very few did. I, for one, got all my energy legitimately, as did the vast majority of the community. To punish all of us for the actions of a few is axiomatically wrong.

How is that our fault? We didn't force you to not play the game while the original magic coins were around. It was your decision to do that, and yet you want to punish us? I don't think so.

AzurePudding wrote:

FALSE! You see, that's the issue we have; while players with little extra max energy can still gain some, it's completely impossible for us to. If what you're saying were true, then we wouldn't be having this conversation.

And for the record, I guarantee CC still works with this system. It would take a little longer, obviously, but that's not the point.

AzurePudding wrote:

So you're saying it's wrong to think we're entitled to the same updates as you are? I just don't understand why you think this update should exclude us while you reap the benefits.

How is it unfair for us to have played the game longer than others? That's like telling Einstein he isn't allowed to be smart due to his ability to think. That's like telling Apple that it isn't allowed to sell anything anymore due to its accumulated wealth. Are you a communist?! (had to)

It's absurd of you to deny your greed while simultaneously banning us from gaining anything. Our gain wouldn't affect you in any way at all, and yet you won't let us gain anything while you do. The only possible explanation for this is that you want to get a leg up on us, and if that isn't greed then I don't know what is.

If we simply wanted more energy, then of course that would be greedy. However, we want what everyone else is getting- what we're the only one's being deprived of. If you think that's greed, then we're going to have some fun with this argument, aren't we?

It is laughable how you act like this is a punishment.   You still have more energy than me.   You've had far more energy for years.   Just because someone else has a chance to benefit now, doesn't punish you.   You can still get more max energy if you rank up some more times.   Played a whole year?   Well now you can play a couple of weeks and gather more max energy.   I don't see how this is a punishment at all.

Well, seeing as how you people complain about a bonus you already got, sure.

Not everyone abused the system.   Those who got it "legitimately" can gain more max energy through the new system.   Were you lucky and gained more max energy than the class 12 can give you?   Well, your bonus is, you had that much more extra max energy for years now, and still do.   You will still have more max energy than someone like me who will reach class 12.   It is strange how you guys, who have a bonus people like me can never reach, are complaining.   You already got a huge bonus.   Now those who missed out are getting a smaller bonus.   This is somehow a punishment for you.   It's not.

Again it is strange of you to believe this is a punishment.   How much max energy do you have?   You make it seem like you have more than a clas 12 person can reach.   Okay then, say someone has a thousand max energy and was around the time old magic was around.   Now, we have new magic.   Someone like me can reach around 350 energy (I'm guessing that's the new max).   That person with a thousand energy has 650 more energy than I will ever have.   That person had the bonus of playing a lot back then for a bigger reward.   And since it was so long ago, they've been able to keep that huge maximum energy for years.   With more than double energy than I will ever reach, this person complains that they can't get more, just because I can get a small boost finally.   Someone else getting a smaller boost does not punish you, when you had a bigger boost for a far longer time.

See above.   By everyone getting more max energy, I meant everyone can get more max energy higher than 200.   I guess I didn't make that clear enough.   Now I have.

Shift wrote:

Yeah it sure doesn't matter.   I don't suppose you know just how great energy is.   Of course, MrShoe wants us to spend money for the new packages with the use of gems.   We were given energy so we can still buy most of the items, although instead of instantly, over time.   Having a max of 200 energy already is a pretty big bonus if you ask me.   Before I first left, all we had were basic blocks.   No walls, no portals.   You could only use what you started with, unless you bought BETA, which gave you 6 different colored, but the same, block.   Now we have so much more to get and we can use Energy to get it all for free.   To want even more and call it a punishment that other members can get a smaller boost compared to your huge boost is indeed greedy.   So, you want a huge boost, and a small boost, while others can only get small boosts.   You call us greedy.   Well isn't that ironic!

Hey, if we're all entitled to the same updates, allow people like me to get old magic coins then!   Nope.   Can't happen.   The update back then greatly outweighs the "benefits to reap" of now.

This isn't like this at all.   Horrible analogies.   Communist?   Come on, your argument is weak.   I had an amazing one thought up while reading through this, but I lost it when typing up my replies.   Oh well.   I'll just better explain the situation then.

You get your monster-sized prize years before me.   You get to benefit every day.   Meanwhile I'm playing some other game, totally ignorant of what's happening.   You gain more and more.   I could be gainning more too, but I'm not playing at this time.   You gain more and more.   Every day you get to benefit, plus more with every magic coin you collect.

This magic system is removed.   Oh well.   Got a lot more than you started out with at least.

I discover this game again.   "Oh yeah! I remember having fun with this game.. what's it called.. anybody edits?"   I begin to search.   "Everybody Edits! That's right." I then begin to play and notice how many people have 600+ energy while I only have 200 max.   "How do I gain more max energy?" I ask.   "You don't.   You missed out." Someone explains old magic to me.   "Oh, too bad.   Oh well, 200 seems to be enough." I do the math.   "Okay, it takes about 8 hours for me to go from 0 to 200, so I can spend it all in the morning, go to school, come home about 8 hours later, spend, 8 hours later, spend again and go to bed.   Repeat."   If only I had more max energy, I could check less often, but sadly I had missed magic coins.

OHMYGOSH!   New magic is added in a way that you cant gain infinite max energy like before, but get a decent boost.   Awesome.   I play for a couple weeks and am at 275 energy.   Not as impressive as those with 600 or more, but again, 200 was enough, anything more is just bonus.   However I would love to have 600 or more, but realize, I don't need it and am fine with what I have.

I get on the forums and see those who have had 600+ energy (or even those in the 200's..) complain that they can't get more.   The ones with lower, but increased, max energy can still get more energy.   Like terrence.   Why complain?   You can get more now!   For those who were lucky enough to get a lot more.   You've had much more than all of us.   For a long time.   Even when I reach class 12, I won't have as much energy as you.

People hwo have more energy than I can ever dream of having then complain saying they've been punished.   WHAT!   Punished?   Punished for getting a much bigger present before christmas time!?! Oh no!   For having more time to play with your bigger gift? DAMN! That's a horrible punishment for others to get smaller presents that aren't even close to compensate for the missed time of old magic.

To think you are being punished is laughable.   To complain that you have more, even if I reach class 12, which is the max class, is out of pure greed.

I'm denying no greed.   I would be fine with 200 max energy again, like I have stated before, while you are having a tantrum that you want more because others who missed out get a smaller boost than what you were lucky to have, far before us.   You even agreed that I'm being "equally greedy" which implies you agree you are being greedy as well.   However I have shown how I am not greedy.   This makes you the greedy one, as you even admitted.

Deprived of.   lol.   Well, you got this update plus way more, years ago.   You get more, and got it sooner.   I get less, and got it much later.   This upsets you and you want more.   I'm sorry, but that's called greed.

You guys, arguing over energy? Really?

Anyways on topic - Having 400 something energy myself I haven't noticed any increase of max energy at all, nor did I seem to get any refills like it used to. Times has changed I don't know if that was on purpose or not. Anyways it seems magic coins are alot more common than before.

Magic coins are far more common than before. It's completely possible, and not too hard, to get 10+ magic in a single day.

Well hell yes, Cyclopsicle.   It is literatly a big point in the game if you consider not spending 2 hours a day to check energy.
I like my boost because it helps me only have to check once a day.   You jelous?   Don't be.   I had 200 energy like you.   You can get energy way faster now.

Anyways.   I'm not trying to be a greedy **** by asking for the energy boost.
I just think of my current energy as a reward for playing the game way before everyone else.

Like a beta badge..

I actually like this arguement because it isn't dramatic and opens discussion.
Maybe we can provide the final result to mrsh0e.
