Since he commented about the update being similar to a user by name of Blackdeath (if anyone has a screenshot of this) it is fairly obvious that he knows about the black potion, and since the black potion is called potionexplode, that makes it fairly obvious.

It's obvious to me that the "Black potion" Is a Placeholder and the affect is a placeholder too, so It was problably made for that and he is denying that this is an actual "Potion" because he knows it's a placeholder, or of course it could be the real deal.

I don't know why everyone is hating on Julian.

Now I've been playing the game for 3 years, and I've never been happier.

Why? First of all, for once we actually get regular updates. Some are better than others, but at least we know Chris cares about the game. Before when there were no updates (I think this was early 2011) the game was so boring. It was like stairs/smiley art united. At least now with all the new blocks noobs are branching out to be somewhat creative.

Second of all, I see no reason why Julian should admit to having created a potion. I mean seriously why are you guys going through the game files anyways huh? Why can't you just be patient and wait to see the following weeks update, instead of hacking the game. I mean seriously even if said potion does exist in the game files, it's not really important. It's not in use right now, and no one even knows what it does. We shouldn't even know about to begin with. Why would Julian want to give away secret information about updates to forumers? That would be stupid. It's like, if I knew every update for the entire year of this game it would be so boring. I would already know what is coming and I wouldn't be as excited to wake up on Wednesday to see updates, because I would already know what it is.

Furthermore GKA is NOT a noob. He is like one of the best EE players ever. If anything you are the newbie tomkazaz, I've never even heard of you until you made this post. I'm not going to insult you though beyond that, I have no need for a warning.

Stop complaining about the mods.

Tomkakaz I've been playing since EE was first made (I think this was early 2010?) I've been playing so long I don't even remember when I started. I had an older forums account, but it was banned. Beside the point, I am perfectly aware of what's going on surrounding the updates. Yes, I don't play/post much but that doesn't mean I don't pay attention. I read mostly all the forums posts, and the blog, etc... Also I am not accusing YOU of hacking, I just meant anyone in general.

BUT! My point is there is nothing wrong with EE or the moderators ok. If Julian denies that appearance of a potion, it doesn't mean anything is wrong with him. It's not cute, or funny, or even topic worthy. It's a pointless observation made by some users who thought it would be fun to take a look inside the game files. I'm sick and tired of seeing the forums spammed up by these useless topics about, "omg Julian is so dumb", or "anti- <insert update here>". Why can't you just learn to appreciate what you have? And leave the mods alone seesh. Besides what evidence do you have that MrShoe even looked at the forum before someone asked him that question?

I will comment on whatever I feel the need to comment on.

Yeah, if MrShoe is your favorite mod... then.. you must be a fresh noob. Do you even knoe other mods ?
What did he do to make that happen ?
Every update is worse than the one before.

MrShoe has made the game very active with many new features. Unlike what he did before, he is now refusing to give out information that should be hidden, which I believe is a characteristic of a good leader. There are also less bugs than there used to be in each update. Though I do not like it, he also listens much more than other mods. The updates being horrible and increasingly worse is purely an opinion, to me the updates are as great as ever and I hope he continues to make more.

There is something serious about how Builder club's addition which "gives" access for people to have all blocks, hurting veterans' dignity and make veterans like nothing special. They need not to earn anything, Just do something profiting on EE devs and they can have access to be like a "pro", But seriously, I have to claim, that All people who gets Builder club (Not counting on beta trials) is noobs.
MrShoe is focusing on inviting new Newbs, And banning old ones while searching reasons to.
That is all the reason why MrShoe is popularly hated by now. I know actually some people doesn't read rules and make extra topics about them.

That look of the extra potion is only for spoiling what MrShoe *MAY* add next update. Are you actually getting annoyed by revealing updates before they release? Then don't read.

Ok ok lemme get back on topic. If Julian actually have nothing to do with those potions, I will go with that Mrvoid made that.

First, EE was uploaded first on March 1st, 2010.   At 4:17 pm EST, if you wanna be precise.
Just because you don't like EE anymore doesn't mean no one does.
Paying for something doesn't make you a noob.   Builders Club is really no different from buying gems and getting all the bricks.
Mr. Shoe isn't inviting anyone to the game.   One person was banned and then unbanned, it's nowhere near a big deal.

So your claim is false. Builders Club was created to help promote creativity, not take it away. Furthermore in most cases (especially if you took advantage of the holiday sale) BC is probably less expensive than buying gems to actually own all the blocks, and so really not only do you get whatever you want, you also get it at a lesser price. The only downside being that BC is temporary.

And no, I am not brainwashed, I just don't see why everyone has to focus on the negative. If you don't want BC then don't buy it, end of story. People could already get all the blocks using the classic tab, why is this update receiving so much more criticism?

I'm assuming you are referring to the Helvi incident, and while I quite agree the banning was unnecessary, you have to remember most of the users in EE are children. Julian only wants what's best for the greater fan-base. He can't cater to the wims of people of all ages, and so he must appeal to that which is greatest. Helvis art is not "obscene" in my book, but it would probably look different in the eyes of a parent. Other than that the only accounts I've heard of getting banned are shared ones, so I don't even get where your coming from.

All your argument is, is that your angry the newbie players can get the blocks. Well big deal, isn't that a good thing? Generally the larger palette you have the better creations you can make, and heck I'd rather see a half-baked adventure level over another cruddy boss with a fake code, or stairs level. So get over it.

If a veteran is at least a bit respectful, he wouldn't care about people getting all blocks for free - it's not like spending energy was much of a effort. Why would you care about other people having as much blocks as you? That's an immature, greedy thing IMO.

Buying BC could help a veteran - 'pros' are normally defined by making quality levels or being a good player, not having a hundred blocks - since those normally are artists or creative minimakers, who may need it for their levels. Thought nobody would and will buy it, but that's natural for something which can cost almost a Big Spender.

ABC Boy, for the sake of non confusion I shall not re-quote my prior statements.

IT'S JUST A GAME. It doesn't take effort to get blocks, you hardly have to do anything. It takes the simple click of a button to add your energy into the item slot, and then patience to wait until your energy slot refills so you can continue to fill the item energy slot until it is full. If that takes you a lot of effort, then well... you might have a personal problem...

Beside that if I have not made it clear let me just say, I AM a supporter of Builders Club, however I DID NOT say I agree completely with the removing of beta. HOWEVER, you must understand that when Chris problem looks at this game, he probably only looks at it from a business perspective. People would buy beta sure, but it was a one time purchase and it never ran out. It's hardly a way to make decent cash. However by adding builders club which is temporary, those who like it will continue to renew it until their hearts content.

Now whether it not Chris is being greedy I do not know. I, personally, do not know where the profits go (if they actually help the game or not) and so I prefer to keep out of the topic.

Also you are so quick to put the blame on Julian because he is the one who launches the updates every week, but don't forget who the game belongs to. Now again I don't have evidence of this, but I do remember Julian saying one time that he actually works very closely with Chris, and it was Chris' idea to add builders club. You can probably peruse the other topics to find pics and/or quotes.

So back the my first paragraph, as I had said prior, it's just a game. Of course those who are willing to put forth something that can actually be valuable outside of the game, like dollars, should get extra benefits. Pay to play, its the most common online term. And besides, the only thing that Builders Club members get the regular players don't get is the aura, the Builder Club Blocks, and unlimited action blocks. It's not as if Mr Shoe is taking anyones things away. So again, get over it.

Dude, you realize the world doesn't revolve around you? There are lots of people that play EE, to whom it's NOT just a game. I get on it every moment I can; and when I'm not, I'm usually on the forums. I love Everybody Edits and will always support it, no matter what it goes through.

HOWEVER, you must understand that when Chris problem looks at this game, he probably only looks at it from a business perspective.

And how do you know this; are you Chris' mom? It's not even worth ranting on this one.

It's hardly a way to make decent cash.

*Facepalm* is all I have to say to this. BEFORE THE SHOP, when Chris took just donations was hardly a way to make decent cash. Beta isn't. With the hundred thousands to millions of players, it's not hardly a way to make decent cash. Also, you add in the gems and plain old donations, too, and you have a good amount if not more than enough money to run the game. One of my EE friends has the Big Spender smiley and 4 diamonds, just to donate to the game. My other friend can't barely even stand getting something from the shop with energy; he only uses gems. You need to pay attention and get your facts right before posting.

Also you are so quick to put the blame on Julian because he is the one who launches
the updates every week

You're Failgirl101, right? As it says in your signature? Then shouldn't you know more about EE? I've seen RPGMaster2000 active once. Chris is plain LAZY. For Pete's sake, he couldn't just find a graphic designer/pixel artist that he knows/used to know to make a few smileys; he used Facebook smileys. Also, he says he's going to do one thing, and never does it- that happens a lot (just don't want to go digging through the forums to find the right quote). All of the other moderators are plain DEAD.

It's not as if Mr Shoe is taking anyones things away.

Ahem. MAGIC. BETA. ENERGY GAIN. And, like you said, UNLIMITED ACTION BLOCKS. That means 40,000 portals, coin doors, spikes, flames, spawn points, checkpoints, coin gates, switches, switch gates or timed doors in a single regular level. Oh wait, 80,000 in a Great world. And consider that you can only get 99 of those normally.

Pay to play, its the most common online term.

Please, since when. I've never heard that.

Now, just because I don't like the updates I am NOT hating on her. I used to not be fine that people liked the updates.
