Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I really hope it becomes more popular, but to do so it will likely need a new lobby that allows room for thousands of people, and still remains practical.

i kind of see a problem with a big community

On this sight roblox the people used to be nice and all.
Kids channel and kids site advertisments and a ton of people come.
Now almost every game with more than 20 people in it is a scam

5 years:

Levels will go all the way up to 100.

All blocks and smilies will be locked.

You must slave away playing stairs all day to unlock your precious goodies, that is unless of course you pay Chris thousands of Dollars to skip ahead of everyone else.

The friends list will be replaced but a schedule of long and boring things you absolutely MUST do EVERY SINGLE DAY in order to remain a proper and efficient player.

Creativity will be outlawed.

The good news is, after creativity is outlawed we no longer need to worry about new rules making EE boring.

Yea tis' true.

Though virtual slavery may be impractical and boring, it's easier and less stressful.

Still, stress is what keeps me going, keeps me thinking. Complicated problems force me to think of new solutions, new ideas.

If EE were truly to become nothing more than a virtual plantation then I would quit. I do not NEED EE to keep my life going. (Although it does add a drama element to my life, one that i never get enough of IRL.)

So if EE just randomly shut down your life would be over, well you must really like this game then.
In 5 years I think EE might be shut down due to loss of money. Or in a alternate universe EE may have changed into a completely new game (with a new name and everything).

My fine sir, I believe you may have misread my statement, as I quote:

Though if a person did need this game to keep their life going, they might have some mental issues... Games can be fun, games can be intriguing and introduce you to new people, but in the end games are games, and are no substitute for real life interaction.

In 5 years EE will have grown to become a very powerful force in the world.

For some reason, I see ee having more glitches in 5 years, than it has now, if MrShoe hasn't killed ee by then.   Although by then, mrwhogivesafeck could be in charge of the game.

Re: What do you think ee will be like in 5 years

A lot of change has happened in the last 2 years. I think there will be more than just a gazillion items in the shop. Here's what I think EE will be like in 5 years:

As MrShoe realizes that the amount of items presented to newcomers is overwhelming, and that he doesn't want to stop adding more blocks, he will extend the minimum class level idea from smileys and potions to blocks and worlds as well. He will completely remove them from the shop, and as you level up you unlock the items you never saw before, and therefore feel like the shop is a never-ending tunnel instead of a vast ocean.

Bricks become highly versatile and functional. There are falling bricks; pushing bricks; bricks that move automatically, like water that can be moved around via pipes and complex networks. There is lava, extra-large blocks, extra-small blocks, ramps, rounded edges, the list goes on.

Potions, too, see much more versatility. There are potions that make you small or big, potions that make you invisible, potions that make you faster or otherwise better than everyone else for an extremely high price. There are side-effects for drinking too much potion.

Worlds can be exclusive to people you specify, or whitelisted. They can be blacklisted. You can control many more variables like exact gravity and player caps.

Chris pursues his love for EE bots by making the API much more in-depth and easier to use. Many more bots come and go. Someone finally hits the jackpot. A bot to dwarf all the others in terms of popularity. Despite your devotion to hating EE bots, you find yourself playing it everyday. The owner of said bot goes as far as to monetize it, and is completely successful in doing so.

MrShoe, MrVoid, and Chris are not fond of users monetizing their game for them, so they are left with no option but to add rules and copyright agreements upon registration. To enforce said rules, current moderators are bumped up to "Administrators" and actual moderators are employed to moderate chat rooms and make sure levels are appropriate.

If you see something familiar here, I don't blame you. This is the exact course of action, give or take, that Minecraft evolved with. Because Minecraft has such undying success, the administration feels as though to subtly emulate it would be the best course of action. And they do. And EE is prosperous.

I only suggest we are emulating Minecraft above other games because we already have, if you think about it. Low-resolution, blocky items that you can place freely whilst obeying gravity or not? Potions, ladders, water etc. are all common RPG elements but the general interface is very reminiscent of Minecraft. Without the mining and without the crafting, of course.

Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

Re: What do you think ee will be like in 5 years

1 year from now weekly updates will stop from MrShoe. The average number of players online will be 500.
2 years from now updates will be as frequent as late Chris updates. The average number on players online will be 425
3 years from now updates will cease altogether and all current/future admins will stop working on the game. The average number of players online will be 200.
4 years from now the servers holding the game will start malfunctioning. Average number of playing at a time will be 50.
5 years from now the servers will stop being funded and the game will come to a halt, never to be played again.

if that dosen't happen we will have all smileys bu they're locked to level 12 so we only use smiiley face
the only ways to get smiley sor blocks is by gems.

Re: What do you think ee will be like in 5 years

Two scenarios:
1. It gets sold to a bigger company, and turns into a generic 2D RPG "with a twist".
2. It dies.

It will either be entirely replaced by a completely different game because of all the change untill it is no long 'EE" or die.

This will happen in 5 long long years:

- Benjaminsen got bored and sells EE
- the new owner listens to the players and removes/adds some things
- MrShoe gets unknown
- new highscore: 1'000'000'000'000 registred users!
- 200 - 800 players online everytime
- new UI
- old PC crash if they start EE because of too much graphical objects
- EE loads with record speed in: 6 minutes

that are my minds.

I think if EE is still around in 5 years, the online play will be more of like a "free trial" and the real EE will become a PC game that you will have to buy for the computer.
