Which do you prefer? EE nowadays or EE 1-2 years ago?

Personally I prefer EE nowadays because there's more of a wide selection of blocks to use, and there are still some good bot assisted levels being created.

For the game itself it would be nowadays for obvious reasons. (which may not be obvious to many, sadly)
But the community I'd prefer 2011-2012, it was fun.

EE 2 years ago was the best in my opinion. It just had a different feel to it when everyone was so creative and you had all the best users there.

EE nowadays is better. There has been great stuff added to the game, and people are still making awesome levels.

Nowadays, most definitely.

I don't get why people today rage about how Shoe ruined the game. I mean come on, yeah, he added smiley locks, removed beta (well, Chris told MrShoe to), and other things. Yes, I hate then as well, but seriously. Think about it. Without MrShoe, we'd never have all these wonderful blocks (okay, -some- most of them are just dumb, but still) that he made. Timed doors/gates, coin gates, zombie doors/gates, and lots more that I can't think of right now.

Honestly, I would prefer if MrShoe came and continued than if Chris never hired MrShoe. Just because without him, EE would suck. See above.

Nowadays, as you'd expect from me.   There is really no benefit of going back unless you GOTTA HAVE that magic system.   Meh, it's okay I guess..   I can see how the level 9 restriction on some of the smileys would P* some people off..   It certianly did to me when I was level one..   With school and work, I certainly cannot find the time to get higher than level 3, MAYBE 4 if I am lucky..

As for blocking blocks, the site isn't even live anymore; I can't contact meredith, so i think it is over.   Playing the old EE may be refreshing, I still dislike the whole w00t system, but ahh.   Who cares, I still enjoy building levels.

EE 1-2 years ago was better,without magic class crap.It was fair and good,but it transformed in a total crap.

The community was best two years ago, but the block packs and smileys are obviously preferable now (don't like it, don't use it)

I like the new potions and stuff. They can make some levels pretty interesting.

I find it funny how people earlier this year were saying that the current EE sucks. But now you guys are saying that the current EE is better than the old EE...make up your minds.

A Year ago EE was at its best, it went down from potions.

Actually, the EE community was never good.   Only a few members really gained my respect.

1-2 years ago for sure.
I liked the classic age of EE, where people were actually creative and satisfied with what they have.
Today it's all about winning, players are more competitive. The only target is to be the best, at the highest level with the biggest amount of gems.
I can't call it Everybody Edits anymore - MrShoe edits this game to be worse and worse every week.
Despite that, I am still active. Not sure why.

Well, honestly, you should just leave if you think that way.   The only thing keeping you back should be friends.   You can skype right..   This EE is okay.   The whole w00t system, is good because it calls for activeness..
