So I friended a bunch of nonchats...

None of them understood that they could chat as friends. Do you think this should be advertised more?

I would enter their levels and my name was green, they'd see what I was typing and still say things like "Hi.", "Yes.", "Follow me.", even after I explained how to do it. :L

Yeah, but that's different. All of those (or most) are from Kongregate, and so far three of my new random friends have misunderstood chatting. :/

Coming from a trolls point of view, absolutely not. Why?

Well first of all, you know how when a chat talks to a chat you can see the little chat bubble regardless of whether you are chat or not?

Well if you are chat, and there are non-chats who are friends chatting, you cannot see their chat bubbles.

Problem 1, you never know who is on whose friends list, therefore all the non-chats could be simultaneously chatting at once, without me ever knowing the wiser. That's bad because then other non-chats could tell the owner I'm trolling and I would never know, how would I know? It's impossible.

Second of all, there is a reason chat can and cannot be enabled. Yes, there are some people without chat who are genuinely smart and mature and just don't want chat, but they are rare compared to most of the other non-chats who are probably immature and childish.

I've friended a few non-chats here and there (the only ones I've ever like though are 1san1ty and Mat.), the rest I think either sound too young to be chatting, or to immature to even heed to have chat.

If people want to do it, they can figure it out on their own, but personally I hate that non-chats can chat with friends, it's really annoying >_<

I agree. Otherwise new players who are non-chats will be friending other non-chats and they have no idea that they can talk to eachother, they will think the only reason there is friends is so they can play worlds together + Will every new player read the Help page anyway?

I friended a non-chat and told him/her about chat and he/she told his/her friends, they probably will spread the message, I've done my part.
