Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

You can make the chat free for all. The people's messages with curse words can be dropped (failed to be sent). Only the staff can answer.

You said Only the staff can answer?!
Moderators don't come onto this forum, so I don't think they'll reply there thoughts about this. If you want a moderator to answer this, show this topic on Wednesday (Update day).
Peoples messages with curse words are filtered out (shown like **** in speech) so people cant curse anyway. Sometimes people replace the i with ! or a with @, but most of the words are filtered out. Plus there's a report button if someone does curse and you can show people that deserve to be banned or warned here
Speaking of the censoring...
There's a set list of letters that Chris included to look for. So if someone says @** instead of A**, it'd still work. So, if he just changed ! to i, etc...
But yes. While I don't like Chris's method, I can't find a better one.

But if you put a pace between the u and the c in the f word, it sends.
Chris needs to say "screw it" and everyone gets chat but with the terms and conditions of no suing etc...
But that will never happen, me and RPGM2K were messing around with chat and corncob words (58000 standard words) so that only the corncob words were accepted, it was terrible we had to add so many words to it; but if that was well developed and updated frequently then it could work, but words such as "GameMaster" wouldn't be allowed, so my bot name would have to change, small annoying things like that.
If you don't have chat, you're not going to get it for free.
Thank you eleizibeth ^
I stack my signatures rather than delete them so I don't lose them

http://www.bannedwordlist.com/SwearWordResources.htm this might be helpful if the eeteam wants to create a good censor thing.
well they could just google after "how to censor all bad words ( game development )" and they would find a lot guides
whatever, i guess they wont. they need money. they cant make chat for free.

In my opinion, the chat is already censored enough to where it should be free.

These include the specific censoring...
We have a collection list of words by which Java included to get. Consequently in case someone declares @** in contrast to A**, it'd nonetheless operate. Consequently, in case they only changed! to help we, and there are others...
Why not:
1. Chat for everyone.
2. Purchasers reimbursed, or not.
3. Ability to mute people.
4. Ability to PM people, and to turn off private/public chat.
5. Better report system.
?
I feel that I'm only speaking for a small minority when I proclaim I like the old system with less censorship and more freedom. I believe it's the only thing without limitation that has some good qualities.
But then again, someone has to whine about "pleese. for duh children. don't hurt their innocent eye-balls with your words that are meaningless when not being self applied to meaningful concepts"
*u stinky*
