I had a dream...

I know, this title is boring... But there's any other words for say what will follow.

So, everybody want to "refound" ancient E.E., isn't it? Well, I have an idea:

First, we can create a "old" world (only one, please...). I have a wide world, so you can go in if you go in my profile...

Second, since you can find Chris and MrShoe e-mail adress in the help section, we can e-mail him a LOT of time with the same request...

I need to know what blocks/action blocks/decorations/background (I will put only one sign for say that we are ANGRY!) we need to pick and what date and hour for a "meeting" in my world.

So, perhaps I'm a B.C. member, perhaps I'm a noobish kid who's 12, perhaps... But I understand you at all! I want to help!! So, please, comment!!

Too many topics like this get created, the mods create an update(s) and someone always has to moan at them. I only want about 4 things to change in the game, not a complete overhaul for the old EE just because this one is poorly-moderated in your opinion.

I prefer the post-Shoe era... it just seems like EE was more enjoyable back then. Now it's routine and boringish.

There has not been a post-Shoe era yet. It's still happening. Do you mean pre-Shoe era? I hope.

I love old E.E. because after, people can bought for ONLY 10$ the Beta version for an unlimited time!! B.C. is temporary... And cost more, so everybody CAN'T have beta... And it make me sad to see people who ask for beta/B.C....

Moreover, I have 16 friends, but only 3 or 2 are only, why? Because veterans quit, and I prefer have good veterans friends to noobish kids friends...

I met old E.E.... As Supersonic3000... then, I lose my password... Then, I re-create an account, this time, as Supershadow30... Now, I remember my password...

While I saw potions and B.C., I though:
"Hum? Something new? OH! Potions!!! Ulimited access to all blocks!!!YAY!!"

After, I saw one of my friend, he asked me:
"Do you know where is Beta?"

This make me sad, and I changed my opinion... I thought:
"Oh no! They removed Beta!!!"

One week after, I saw five world called "Need Beta help" and something like this... One month after, I saw a lot of worlds called like this...

Now, I'm for B.C. AND veterans, because the two are good... I want "Equality"...

P.S.: I know I'm double-posting... sorry... I just want to answer...

As a long time player of EE here is why I think the new EE is better.

It's a trade-off really.

The old EE was just ok. What it lacked for in gameplay was made up in good company.

The new EE is just ok too. What it lacks for in good company is made up with good game-play.

It's not the game that's changed (I mean yea it has), but I think it's the community who's changed more. No one is forcing you to use the new blocks, and you ar perfectly able to make levels with just the old blocks. The problem is moreover a lack of players with creativity. Because of the RPG system people worry less about how their level looks and more about how many plays it gets, and how many magic coins can be obtained.

If I had to pick between the two, the new EE wins hands down. Just because, personally, I've never been one much to participate in the community on a level where anyone actually cares if I'm here or not. I just like hanging out with a few people, and building what I like to build when I like to build it.

And plus we have way better blocks nowadays than we did 3 years ago.

And to the OP, spamming Chris' inbox will get you nowhere. If you have truly been playing for as long as I, you would know that Chris is very stubborn and he will only do whatever he wants to do. A.K.A the old EE isn't coming back, and neither is beta.

And plus there's things like world portals that I have been waiting for and been wishing for for so long, which have now come. There was something else as well, but I can't remember what it was.

I've been in EE since 2010, thank you. And I can clearly say it sucks, because there's almost no blocks to be creative with. I mean, new blocks can't hurt. What did hurt, you say?

The community, as some of you brought up. This is the most essential part of EE. Before it was blooming, and that was the absolute best part of the game, it's just not here anymore.

Beta. No more beta? NO!

What didn't suck, you say?

Builders Club. Sure, it's a money-grabbing thing, but doesn't affect you much. Besides, it gives you all the blocks and exclusives, encouraging more people to be creative.

More blocks. I hear people say, "MrShoe STOP ADDING BLOCKS THEY ALL SUCK" Really, eh? There's no negative effect. All it does it allow for more creativity.

Now I've said this what, 5 times before, but if old EE's community were combined with new EE's blocks and items, hell yeah.

New EE's good part: Features.
Old EE's good part: Community.

Thanks Failgirl, you are the only one who understands me.

Beta. No more beta? NO!

You still have your Beta blocks and smileys. Plus beta members got a 1-month free BC trial.

Your dream is misguided, there was always negative opinions about EE.
By comparing the current amount of users and creativity to EE at the moment to the past, you can see quite a difference.

However, you can't exactly point it to one single event, but the chain reaction started with the useless updates. However, the updates that were planned and actually had passion in them were the music blocks.

I believe that less option, or the lack thereof usually acts in favor of creativity, and the community were much more united - if I can even say that - but not completely.

Look what happened to Myspace, and look how well Facebook is doing with it's limitations.
That's what should have happened, and until nearly everything collapses, will people understand.

tldr; Lots of updates = more options = USUALLY less creativity, less commitment = collapse/rot.

P.S: I've been watching for the past few days, so I can see what is happening. Anyone want to drop me a PM about what's been going on whilst I was away?

1. Boost Cannons
2. BC
3. Ranking system
4. Beta Removal
[insert your own list here]

See! make these 4 things like they were before and the game suddenly seems more enjoyable.

To be honest, EE died for me when Chris randomly banned my account a year ago. I'm still on the forums though, for the good community. It's a shame that other's couldn't do the same.
