Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Is anyone else weirdly bothered by the sound it makes when you touch a coin? It sounds like a badly played recording and every coin sounds identical. I usually have the game muted, as most people do.
Do you think the coin sound should change?
If it worked like when you got more than 1 coin within 1 second, the sound gets higher, like in some games, that would be cool.
I worded that poorly. ^
I always play with the sound on, and, if you don't like the sound of the coins, just play less 'level up fast levels'
No, just kidding. I don't think the sound should change.
The first thing I do when I log on EE is to mute. It's a habit and I have been doing it for a long time.
The only reason I unmute is to listen to the sound for nostalgia from old EE.

It's annoying when there's lots of coins in a row and you have to collect them, it's even worse when someone coin spams you to get your attention.
The sound of the coin should be changed into a trumpet solo.
Thank you eleizibeth ^
I stack my signatures rather than delete them so I don't lose them

:O!
I like this idea.
And yes, I HATE it when people start out there levels with 200 coins and you free falling into them. ._.

I'm completely fine with the sound of the coin, but as meep805 said, it's annoying when there is many at a time.
I mute the game as well whenever I start up EE. I only turn on the sound if I am in a music level.
thanks zoey aaaaaaaaaaaand thanks latif for the avatar

Saxophone sound! I play it by the way...

Nintendo needs to sue EE for copying Coin sounds. EE is plagiarizing Nintendo's Coin sound. Yay.

There's a mute button for a reason you know, and it's to be pressed.
I like hearing sounds and music from games. As long as I can hear something, I'm happy. Without hearing anything, games only have one sense, which is seeing. I almost always have the sound up.
Also, the coin sounds were copied from Super Mario Bros. SNES.

Whoa, I guess you learn something new every day.

Whole brass band (Including sax as I believe it is classified as woodwind due to the reed.)

They sound similar, but if you're correct, ...

I have an idea, don't mute the game, don't have your computer's sound on in the first place!

Play Super Mario Bros. for the SNES, you'll hear it soon enough.

Listening to music at the same time.
I only turn off the EE sound if I'm listening to music. or if there's a ton of coins. or if I'm in one of those worlds that force you to listen to terrible sounds (music blocks) when going to the next mini.
I mute the sounds usually when I am trying to play a level. Though, if I'm just going AFK I'll leave the coin sounds on so people can place coins on me to get my attention. I assume if someone's going to go through efforts to disturb me with a coin, they probably have something important to say.
*u stinky*

I used to do that until they figured out they could just hold the mouse to spam the coin sound. It's deafening.
