Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Help.

Listen.

In June, I was a bit of a ****, and cheated on a test.

(The study guide was beneath the desk, on my foot.)

The teacher caught me.

She let me redo the test. (:D)

At the end of the period, she told me to tell my parents I was sorry.

I'm like WTF SHE CALLED MY PARENTS.

But when I came home, nothing happened.

They didn't know.

The next day, the teacher asked me if I told me parents.

I said yes. (bad decision)

As a grade on the test, I got an 88 but she took of 10 points for me cheating.

On the report card, I got a B.

Not bad.

--

Now it's July, and if i get caught i'll be punished... probably severely.

Next year, i'm going to a different school, and the people i've gotten insight from have told me don't sweat it.

But the teacher goes to Church the same time as my family does.

I'm just afraid that my teacher will say something stupid, like "i'm glad that your son told you about him cheating" or something.
Am I being paranoid?

Am I stupid for lying?

When you think you can get away with something, does it usually backfire?

Help please.

And if you really don't care, don't even comment. Please. Save my time.

Re: Help.

I'd try telling them. But I wouldn't know because I've never cheated on a test. Never had the need.

Re: Help.

Both questions, stupid for lying and being paranoid, are answered with a yes.

But if I were you, I would have caution. And, I'd suggest you'd go ahead and tell your parents about it but not as if they didn't know, as if they already knew, like, say, "remember that time I cheated on my test? I was being really stupid," and continue with something else.

Of course, maybe your parents like to go easy on you, and they just haven't mentioned it, but know about it. That's why, when you tell them, you act as if they knew. that way, if they did know, it's fine. if they didn't, and they ask you wut the heck you're talking about, you act as though you completely remember telling them and that maybe they don't remember.

Re: Help.

Tell them. It's not a huge deal, so don't make it out to be in your mind.

Just tell them what you did, tell them   you know it was stupid and that you won't do it again. Simple.

Re: Help.

Butttt my parents are strict

do you know how scary this is?

EDIT:

and if i don't tell them, what do you think will happen?

and if i do, think of the question they might ask me.

Why?

idk

Did your teacher find out?

Yes

Did she ask you to tell us?

Yes

Why didn't you?

because i thought you might be upset at me
....

and all the other questions.

i'm just afraid.

my dad doesn't take these things lightly.

Re: Help.

First of all, I dun know anyone who goes to school in July, but I guess you have summer school or live in the southern hemisphere. That or you're not in school. ANYWAY.

I'd just tell them, because that s*** might catch up with you later in life.

Re: Help.

Telling the truth makes you feel better about yourself.

And, it might just be being grounded now, but... ... ... yeah I've got nothing. Old people just tell you to be honest so you feel better about yourself. There's pretty much NOTHING they can do if you tell them when they're old folk, or just don't tell them at all. It'll all blow over sooner or later.

Re: Help.

Well, I hope so.

I know not telling them is a bad thing, but think about it.

How scary it is.

Put yourself in my position.

If you're a straight A student, and you cheated on a test, would you tell your parents?

If you don't tell them, and they find out on their own, you will be in much greater trouble, IMO.

Re: Help.

I know.

Find a perfect route to Hollywood. Poison your parents. tell the police that a man wearing a black coat had came into the house the day earlier, blame him. Escape to Hollywood, find an actor with a huge Ego that thinks adopting a kid off the street would make people think good of him/her, and voila, a perfectly new life.

..
..

Ok, I'm no help, I'll just shut up.

Re: Help.

I would suggest telling them the truth, while making yourself seem sad and depressed. Also, try to blame as much on yourself as possible, because they will eventually feel sorry for you. Say you are very sorry, and you will never do it again.

Yeah, that is all I can come up with. Hope that helps.

Re: Help.

Idk bro. I just don't know.

Can someone list the bad things that can happen?
And why not telling them is bad?
