Yeah, pretty much the reason I stopped playing EE. I couldn't catch up on updates since they were announced each week, so I just died off.

Even though the game isn't "ruined", it feels that EE has deterred from its goal being more and more of a sandbox game (which it was attracted me here) with the experience updates and leveling up.

'Cept then I became a mod for the site I animate for, so I just stopped focusing on EE altogether. Trying to check it out again since I have the chance.

I kind of agree, but I still see a lot of the community here, and besides, I do really enjoy the game, mapmaking is always a fun and challenging experience!

In 6 months... There have been 3 new mods. I don't know the name of the third, but MrVoid accidentally leaked that there was one, when he mistook me as one of the secret mods.

Ironically, one of the reasons Everybody Edits has gotten (a wee bit) worse is because of the veterans leaving, and the veterans leave because it's gotten (a wee bit) worse.

The game is fine! Veterans leave because the game is changing. Change is good, but not easy.

Sure, some of the updates sucked. Some of the smileys look horrid. COUGH COUGH

But you can always just build levels as before. Turn off the potions if you want. But I think the potions greatly improve the game. Many people turn off all potions except for flaunt, flaming, and the color potions. Those potions are simply for looks, and are quite impressive.

Now, you can make levitate, jump, and timed worlds. (using protection) You can make your nub smiley boss not quite as nubby with the new smileys.

You can find a moderator pretty easily if you know where to look. Just remember not to kick them.

World portals and invisible portals! No bots required for the latter. And now you can make split paths using small worlds and 1 or 2 world portals. (Getting a world portal allows one per world.)

Finally, the swamp block. Been a while since we had entirely new physics. Admittedly, this is pretty hard to make minis with, but you can manage.

So, in my opinion, the game has changed for the better, not the worse. Except for a few things. COUGH COUGH

Tip: If you want to re-found E.E., then, go in Open worlds! There, you can only use normals and metals blocks, gravities changes and crown!! "Back to Basic", as the MrShoe post said... Unfortunaly, there's only 5/6 open worlds filled with guests, with a little chance to see a non-chat, with a really little chance to see any Chatters and any chance to see any Mods...

P.S.: After, I saw 647 user at once... two month after, only 368...

P.P.S.: When I firstly come in 2011, I remember I've seen 43 open world and only 13 saved world. Now... 123 saved worlds, 6 open...

I'm sort of a veteran, I've been around a little before 2011 Christmas, for proof, check my profile, I have grinch. I liked the old EE better with all of the magic coins and stuff, but I only had 252 then, at least now I have 400. And there are more blocks.
