Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I was playing a popular zombie level, and someone named Superman323 was flying around using hacks. Later, he gave out a link to it. After that, there were lots of people flying around and sharing the link. Tell me what you think, and I didn't really have much time to type this.

I've heard about the recent hacking incidents that seem to occur. Players in my world have been reaching unable to reach places, by hacking, and also going through blocks.
Looks like we got another case on our hands that we all know the moderators won't do anything to help with.
It's because Capasha and Krock are making modified clients and publishing them for everyone to use.

There's several ways for MrShoe to prevent it, though I don't know if he knows any.
I'll email him later about it, if he even cares about fixing it.

i miss the days where you could fly around without needing a hacked client. back then you could use cheat engine to hack mod mode (flying only, no editing). the only thing chris did about it was make it so if you stay in mod mode too long you get kicked from the level.

A modified client isn't needed, Chris didn't do much to prevent it.
From what it seems, there was a semi-working disconnect when too much movement data was sent from different locations, since when movement data was blocked, it worked fine.
Since the mod-mode was client-sided, there was no way for the server to know the client was in it, since the client had no contact with the server for those individual variables.

Flying hack? Meh. So what, let them have their fun.
Unless they're in a zombie world.
Or a key world.
Or any world, basically, ever.

They were in a popular zombie world
that used keys
and existed.

Well, one way to disrupt those clients is to do a game update. Other than that, use /giveedit.
It's really easy to make a modded client, I've done it plenty of times and I know little about AS3.
Anyone with any programming experience can just google some stuff and look through the EE source to make it, so that's why it's so popular.

Exactly. The internet is so full of free knowledge, that it could take just a few clicks to make a client like this.
I don't think that this will be fixed in a long time, especially since MrShoe is on a so called, "vacation". Plus, he probably won't even care so we'll have to deal with this for a long time. I just usually automatically ban then using a bot. and usually someone says something if someone's hacking so.. yeah. all good... sorta....... becides the fact that it's just raging altogether....
For the record. It's not usually a good idea to use clients, because people might be able to find your user/email and pass through it and maybe use your account... maybe... it depends.. but whatever.

People also just use shared accounts because it's not worth it to risk your own.
