Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I would like to know what keeps all the OG players of EE, still to play EE. Because this game has been pretty much crap since Shoe came along and introduced the level system, that's was completely blown me to give up on this game as I have a life, and dont play this game daily. As I said, I would like to know what your guys stories are as to why you still stick around.
MrVoid disabled magic decay.
'nuff said.

I tried to quit at december 2012, but I couldn't, due to lots of unfinished maps that I just had to finish
And I keep recieving awesome map ideas, that can't be left undone :/ Although we've got lots of useless, bad-looking blocks and smileys, I just buy and use the ones that I really need or like.
And I also come back to see what my friends are doing ^_^
Also, hb44's return made me play ee more frequently

The lulz.
Nothing like trolling a level and getting someone else kicked.
Nothing keeps me.
I'm not playing EE anymore.
I stay because.....
Um.......
Well, the main reason I'm still playing is my friends.. And many of them have already quit so I stayed with only few, but I still enjoy meeting them.
I've actually quit for a short period of time due to exams at the end of the year but as summer vacation began I came back.
The magic-decay removal encouraged me to stay and it's obviously better now, without the feeling of having to play daily in order to keep your items..
I also wander around worlds in EE and encounter very good ones, so it's fun seeing that some players weren't affected by the "Shoe revolution".

The Community?!
Player Since 2011. I used to make bots and stuff.

I haven't played any more than once a month in a looooong time, and the only thing that keeps me doing that is curiosity, to see how much more the shoe screwed up since the last time I played. I hear MrVoid may have helped out the game a bit, but I don't buy it; only taking out shoe's systems entirely will fix it.
I love the community, especially the forums! Unfortunately, it seems like Edge got caught up with Minecraft again.
Oh well, I still have N1KF (two days later, I receive the following email: "hey, i read ur post. im never coming back bye")
Battle Blocks, my friends, and RDash.

I just mostly use EE as a hangout place to draw and hangout with my friends. Cause on gmail chat it's not as fun .

I keep playing to see how crappy this game can get.
I like to be creative, and there are few outlets for doing that. There's a load of websites dedicated to sharing visual arts, written arts, video arts, etc., but not so many for game art. The art of creating challenges that other people try to accomplish - that's what I am passionate about.
Of course you can just create your own game from scratch, but that's not casual by any means. That's like, several years of training and a year of hard work to create something that might be successful on Newgrounds. EE, however, is like a couple months of casual work and a guaranteed community for support.
Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

I don't anymore. If I want to draw I use either grafx2 or gimp.

Because I have things to keep buying and I have it on my favorites bar and it's sitting there on my New Tab page and...friends.
And memories. And the f***ing ray of light that this game brings.
And because I can't always be on Dragon Cave. And because this was one of my first MMOs that I played. And life.

So this.
In my words, it's the memories and the ray of light and hope that someday EE would become as fun as it was back in the old days.
I heard that 2010 was a lot more fun than 2011, and it is a shame I only joined in 2011. However, those memories I have will never be forgotten and that's what keeps me playing.

I stay here because I genuinely enjoy this game and do not believe that MrShoe has ruined it at all.

I agree. This is exactly why I play this game.
The community.
But i am not really there anymore. I am just looking maybe once a month on the blog & forum to see how it went.
I have to say the bot fight made EE more living - the time where bots were like a privilege was so much better. There was a really active forum and a active community with a lot opinions. Now its just 0815 - though.
Cheers,
Mylo
