Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

@Azurepudding: I'm not sure of how much will the signs be abused compared to just cursing in the minimap thing. The whole main idea to the text brick is to buy BC, to make cash out of the game.
Well, I think that those text bricks will be more abused than just trolling derogatory language because of 2 things; new accounts/new people (Non stop acc making) and it will also be abused trough little kids either hating on another person in EE or to make racial slurs because they won't care for a ban because you still come back with chat and all. Not really loosing anything. I had another point, but I simply forgot.

This isn't a good argument. While we're at it, let's just take away chat, and have the game programmed for whenever a letter is drawn, have it automatically deleted. Seriously, a little kid seeing a bad word should be the least of your worries on the internet, when inappropriate content is a click away.

Why do we need signs? I saw a world where you open a google doc, then when you see a block on ee, you just turn to that page or someting on the google doc. Why waste money on bc...
I think you missed the part were I said for adventure maps
If signs become free, and if people have paid for these signs... refund needed.
Or am I wrong?
(off topic: "infinate"?)
Signs will not become free, because there is nothing to loose if someone misuses the sign, and many people have paid just for the signs, what goes to BC stays in BC.
The least MrShoe can do is let everyone use signs in their home world since they have a few default signs already.

I think she's trying to say that if a BC member misuses a sign they will loose their ability to place signs, if signs were free, there would be nothing to loose.

I agree. It's a slap in the face that one of the most requested features on EE, probably third to chat and a friend's list, is only available to those who are willing to actively support -- you know, with a subscription -- mr shoe.
But, you know, I guess slaps in the face are all the rage when you create content for an internet game. Yeah, man, let's just remove beta, and the pay-for-chat, and give one of the best features to people who pay a ton of money!
But, oh, wait, they paid.
Yeah, well, I paid for chat and beta, and look what happened there. Right, one is non-existent and compensated with a one month trial, and the other is given to everyone for some inexplicable reason even though the entire point of paying for chat was to prevent children from all the naughtiness.

1. She/He is saying something true.
2. Your respond to she/him is pathetic.
1st put yourself in MrShoe's shoes; isn't that what a admin will think it's best for the game. Admins and the people have diff goals towards the game and the admin's decisions will mostly be rough on the people, but hey, they need to earn profit.

Signs have censors too, I think. You can do more damage with writing with blocks as it appears on the minimap, isn't censored, and stands out more in-game. A lot of little kids just skip signs and the words are censored.
Just because a few people may abuse something shouldn't mean that you should keep anyone from doing it.. unless if they pay 100 bucks a year. We have chat, we can write words. We can write bad words, we can type bad words. Why does it become an issue when it comes to signs? How often do you see chat being abused? How often do you see worlds have curse words written on them? Not often. It's rare, actually. So why would it be any different with signs. All signs are is pretty much writing words and chat combined.

I'm going to make some responds to the bolded parts in your quote since the questions are the ones that matter the most.
How does it become an issue when it comes to signs? Since signs are most often used when a world is completed, the owner will put some crap in it. The sign will stay as the owner saves the world, which will stay in the world permanently until the owner either removes the sign or deletes the world.
How often do I see chat being abused? A lot. Go to a zombie map and the kids will talk smack about whoever infects them. That's my evidence because I see it a lot. Oh, especially when it comes to protecting a "girlfriend" in the game. Chat is abused a lot, and I do think that MrShoe made a big mistake in that. He 1st makes it for parental safety and then takes the safety out. Good job MrShoe.
How often do I see worlds having curse? Not much, but it must be because I don't play the game as I used to. Back then the only worlds I saw curse was in free code worlds.

Er..
People can still write bad text in a world and save it. Wouldn't be any different if we could all use signs. If a person wants their world to look bad, then fine. But most people wouldn't use signs just to put in a few bad words only.. which would be censored anyway. There are a lot of good level designers who could use signs to improve their world.
I've been to a few zombie worlds. I think you are exaggerating. A lot. Every once in awhile there will me a message like "fuuuu" when someone becomes infected. And even then, if it's just zombie maps, then.. well, it's just zombie maps.
I've played this game for a couple years now and I think I've only seen a bad word only once, written in block form. Chances are a kid will hear the f-word more likely in real life than on EE.

The censorship won't work in all ways you expect. What about if someones uses space to use the word they want? Example: F ***. It will still be visible.
Trust me zombie worlds are the places where the kids roam around and trust me, there is a lot of cursing. There's also that kind of guy who talks smack when someone says something, now those are the ones I can't understand. I know what you're thinking when you say "It's just zombie maps." the thing that you may forgotten is that many people usually play those. It's like the major map in EE now.
Iv'e seen those block cursing also, but they're barely written and now with chat, expect that to happen less.

Oh just quit it. You know yourself that putting signs for BC only was a **** move. Many users have been begging for some sort of text to add to their levels, and when we finally get it, we are forced to pay for it. That is complete BS.
Also before any comments from you saying "You would feel differently if you had Builders Club" The answer is no. I have bought builders club twice, and I still agree with it being completely stupid. Even if I bought the 12 month subscription, I could care less if they were released to the rest of the users.
Many users can benefit from this block. We shouldn't be limited to who can, or can't use it.

That can be done in chat already. Yet again, what's different when it comes to signs? You haven't answered that.
There's no big difference or a major difference on how it's compared to chat or brick cursing. The difference is that a person could use cursing and leave it on the level and for others to keep seeing it. That's pretty much it, not a big thing eh?
The function for the brick sign is pretty much for people to buy BC. Doesn't it looks convincing to use? I'm one who will actually buy it, but since I pretty much have everything in the game, it will be a waste to spend money just for the sign and a few things. BC has to have a few extra show off features like beta smileys, extra worlds, signs, etc. Why? Because it makes the non-bc players jealous and makes them ask their parents or buy it themselves. The brick is unique just like the beta smileys... great appearance.

And a lot of us are wanting signs and beta to be a seperate purchase as the rest of us who have just about everything aren't willing to pay 100 bucks a year just to be able to use signs. Not all of us have parents willing to spend money on everything we want. Some of us have to make our own money. And 100 bucks just to be able to use a sign is a total rip-off. I can pay 10 bucks to play Terraria for life with infinite signs, or I can pay 27 bucks to play Minecraft for life with infinite signs. Everybody Edits? 100 bucks only for a year for signs.

I have beta, and a TON of all those 10 for 1000-brick objects. So to me, it's really 100 bucks a year for signs.

The main reason MrShoe gave about Builder's Club was the purpose of there "being more, and better levels," but this isn't true. More blocks don't make a better level. It's how they are used. There are a lot of good level makers who don't have BC who could make their levels even better if they could use signs, depending on the type of level. Have you played "The Square"? It can only be played because of the signs. If more people could have access to signs, maybe make it a part of the beta program which should be purchasable again, then it could help the better level makers. Not allow us to have signs because some people might type curse words is a horrible argument. We have chat which can be cursed in. Bad words can be drawn. But how often does this happen? Rarely with drawn words, occasional in chat. Why is it suddenly such a big deal if someone says "****" on a sign when people already can do that in chat? And can write with blocks without a censor bypass? Anyone who is on the internet has probably already seen these bad words. Everyone has probably heard them in real life. Should forums cease to exist because there's a chance someone might type a bad word?

I really want beta. I also want signs. If beta was available again with signs, I'd probably get it. Signs with BC only? I'll never buy it, at least the way it is now. That's money Shoe/Chris could be getting if they broguht beta back.
The Birth of Builder's Club:
Mr. Shoe: Chris, can I delete the beta program, which ha probably made us the most income over the past couple years, and replace it with some ridiculously expensive knock-off program that is short termed as well so we can decrease our annual profits and run this game into the ground?
Chris: Sure, why not? And while you're at it why not add a special text brick (that everyone has been asking for for a long time now) to that program so we can lose more players and thus decrease our sales even more!!!!!!
Idiots...

So much people support the idea to give text signs to the public...
Oh, well, what could happen? Chat was released and many people put up with it, so why not just put the bricks? I support both sides actually, but I support not handing it out. Chris and MrShoe hate hearing cursing, and especially racial cursing, which if they hear they will ban the user for it.
Azurepudding: You do make lots of good points, and it is hard to back myself up since you talk about cursing not being a big thing and the waste of money. Yes, BC messed up lots of people and made them quit, but MrShoe has a different mindset of the whole BC.
I'd like it if MrShoe came out with some sort of Builder club potion that you buy for 1 gem, and gives you like 5 minutes of builders club. That way I can place signs where I want, without spending an insane amount of money.
