Is EE Shutting Down?

We haven't heard   of the administration saying EE will shut down so I have doubts.

However, it is New Year's and maybe they shut it down?

It's already been   a day, and this is the first time I haven't heard from Cyclone...

I heard someone tested their bot, and this type of situation means it's an error in the game that only the Administrators can fix... But they're not here...

The error is usually caused by the API not seeing a server running in 'Everybody Edits Private Cluster'.
It could have been triggered by an administrator easily, or it could have been caused by a networking failure.

The game is NOT deleted though, because the databases still exist and are accessible.
If They were shutting down EE, wouldn't it be logical to delete the remnants?

It could be an update that is occurring, however I do not know why if that were the case, they'd not use the conventional update method that's happened every other time.

The only thing that seems to suffice for an update explanation, is the fact that RPGMaster2000 was online recently, and with that he was only online in a room for ~30 seconds.

It's only been a few days, so I wouldn't jump to conclusions at an early state.
