EE Lingo

I feel like making a list of EE Lingo for all the newbies. Feel free to add or make suggestions!

*Admin- (see mod.)
(*There are also rumored to be secret administrators for the game of Everybody Edits, but their identities are a mystery, that's why it's a secret.)

Advertiser- A person who uses the chat system in a world to advertise another world (also see: noob)

AFK- Away From the Keyboard

Builders Club/BC- A temporary premium subscription to EE that gives you access to all blocks, unlimited action blocks, as well as beta and signs. You also get the neat BC god glow when you hover in god mode.

Beta- A temporary offer, now removed, that gave users access to premium blocks and smilies as well as access to new features a week before the public for a mere $10 or 100 gems. Beta has since been replaced by Builders Club.

Bishop Jungle Statue Plant Pot Smileys/BJSPPS- A meme-smiley started by GKAbyssflorida through the discovery of a mysterious bishop smiley on a pot with a bush in front

Block- The basis of all level building, the block is the item in your inventory in which you can use to build and create level. Blocks are generally square in shape, and come in a variety of colors and patterns.

Boss- A game which involves multiple players fighting for the chance to win. A boss, generally run by the owner of a level, is a game consisting of a series of mini games in order to eliminate players. The player who beats all the games till the end gets a prize such as a coin, crown, or edit privileges.

Bot- A system created to manipulate Everybody Edits in a way which was not possible before. (Examples include, but not limited to, auto boss, auto code, digbot, snake bot, shift, adbot, etc...)

Camper- Someone, who has been infected with the zombie potion, who sits on a levels spawn point in order to infect newly spawned players

Code- The super secret edit key that gives you access to edit in a level (also see: edit)

Coining- Continuously putting a coin on top of a player, generally to annoy them with the coin sound

Crew- An organized group of Everybody Edits players who work together in building a level

Edit- Giving or having having permission to place/remove your blocks in a level.

EE- Everybody Edits

Exploit- To finish a minigame easier, quicker, or otherwise in a manner not intended by the maker

GL/GG/GR- Good luck, good game, good round

Griefer- Someone who sits in a level and does not move. Generally either a user who is AFK or is trolling using a troll bot (also see: Troll Bot)

GTG/G2G- Got to go

Hacks/Cheater- Someone who hacks the game of Everybody Edits either by crashing a world, using moderator mode, or cracking the code in a level to troll or otherwise disrupt regular game play.

Kick- To be forced to exit a level. Only the owner of a level can kick other users*
(*Exceptions include certain bots which can give other users access to kick within a certain level)

Magic- Energy obtained by collecting coins. Collect enough magic to increase your max energy level and buy more things in the shop.

Mod-
1. Forums moderator. Has the right to lock topics and edit or delete posts. Also has the right to ban and unban you according to the ToS.

2. EE Moderator. Has the right to kick players from any level and ban players from the game. Also generally provides updates and/or bug fixes. As of now the only known moderators are Benjaminsen, MrShoe/Julian, Peter/Sbeam, RPGMaster2000, and Toby

Noob/Nub- Someone who is annoying, uneducated, or often trolls. (also see: troll)

NP- No problem

Pro- Someone who excels at some aspect of the overall game such as art, minis, or actual gameplay.

Also, for those who often ask me about the , the smiley was first released in January of 2011, here is the official blog post (http://blog.everybodyedits.com/2011/01/26/298/). As the blog states, the idea was to send fanart via snail mail to an address which was posted on the blog. Generally a griefer is a troller too, but the difference is a griefer uses a troll bot so it doesn't look like they're trolling. For example, if you DL doh's hacked client and troll with mod mode, then you will look like a griefer. If the owner finds out it's a troll bot the first thing they will do is look at griefers and kick who is afk.

Will fix. I though WB was already on there? And not putting Oh my god, because I don't believe in god, and for those who do you aren't really supposed to take his name is vain. Oh my gosh is fine.

Even if i dont believe in god, sometimes i say that, its a lingo.

The truth is that many people, religious or non-religious, say "Oh my god" on a daily basis. Even if you are somehow deeply offended, why wouldn't you put it up there? It's not like I can't type the name "Zeus" because I don't believe in Greek gods.
