Why are download links to programs allowed, but not bots?
They both have the potential to steal accounts, and to be fake links to malware, viruses, etc.

If no one is allowed to post direct links to bots, no one should be allowed to post direct links to programs.

AFAIK, the people who you may be referring to are not posting direct links.

If they are, I would need an example or two of what you mean.
